online Help topic displaying the security level. The topic title is
somewhat misleading because it's really about using conditional text
in running headers; the security settings are managed by condition
tags.

For the past 10 years I have been working with a firm that manufactures steel
decking for the construction industry. Our major output has been two catalogs
plus two updates (4 catalogs total), ranging from 60 to 150 pages.
We've been using Frame for years for certain marcom pieces, particularly where
the content is similar or identical to content in our technical documents.
Basically, our technical marketing is in Frame, while our corporate marketing
is in InDesign. We have successfully worked around Frame's RGB
We just use pitstop or let our printer fix the files using pitstop.
If we do the work on a MAC no color issues.

FrameMaker is tricky when it comes to color output for offset printing.
There are two challenges: 1. Defining the spot color. 2. Printing only the
black plate and the spot-color plate.
Here is how I would do it, with no additional software.
To define the spot color:
1. Go to View
I think you can adjust this with Microtype's TimeSavers or one of
their other tools.
