What do I do to clean up files which originate in Word or PDF. I'm
turning crime fiction novels into ebooks and have run into a few problems.
Case 1:
I import simple Word files into Frame then publish as epub or mobi. In
the finished version there are strange display behaviours

For what it's worth, we copy MSWord files into a text editor, then code them
with MML tags, and then import into FM. Works like a charm especially if you
use a scripting language for coding.

For future reference: The fix from the Adobe KB (TCS3Update.zip) didn't work,
but my IT guy found another one somewhere titled FM10_license_updater.exe
that did work. So that problem is fixed. Now I can open FM 10, but when I do
HelpUpdates and try to download the FM 10.0.2 update, it errors
Did you try downloading the update via the webpage instead of relying on the
Adobe Updater?

BTW, Adobe patches are usually intended to be applied in order. You might need
to run the 10.0.2 patch before the license updater.
