Hi, I have this strange problem with disappearing text when printing to PDF. FM 8.0p277, distiller 8.1.2 (CS3), Windows XP (SP3), Type 1 font (TheSans). Some text disappears, seems at random but always the same paragraphs. This has been up before, but I can't recall the cause/solution.

I am on Frame 8.0p277, Windows XP. Frame had been working just fine for months and months, but last week IT did a new build on my PC and I had to reinstall Frame. I installed all of the updates to 8.0p277, and also installed Acrobat 9 Pro. Now, to my consternation, Frame is crashing when I save as

Maybe it's something screwy with my network, but if I go deep down in file trees, I get lots of problems. I save to a network drive, maybe that has something to do with it too. If I save up a few levels, everything works. My IT guys acknowledge this problem. -Gillian -Original

My PDF fails all the time. I switch between File Save as PDF and Print Printer = PDF. Eventually, it starts to work again. I also change the PDF job options from Standard to High Quality Print (or vice versa) and that tends to solve the problem as well. What is going wrong, however, I don't
