Rick actually wrote a FS for me to do this several years ago -- works
great.
I believe the use case was that conversion to either a single HTML or Word
file was required by the customer. :- )

Easier would be to download the full Acrobat eval and install that.
Reinstalling Frame is probably overkill and might modify your setup, which
you probably don't want to do at this point.
Remember that the new Acrobat install may need to have job options setup to
match what you had..

Just in passing, for long-term storage, MIF wold be a slightly safer choice
than a binary format... .but I've never had any trouble opening FM files

Flare... Flare links to FM files nicely for single sourcing. I think it's
kind of clunky as a primary authoring tool, but as a downstream Help

The first thing you should do with any imported or copied Word content is
MIFwash it -- save the Frame file out as MIF, open that, and save as a ,FM
in order to clean all the weird Word characters out.
Try that and see if it helps.
