I know that FM8 sat next to my FM7 install politely. I believe that I
installed to a separate directory, but other than that, it was pretty
simple.

I haven't run FM 8 (same version, standalone unstructured) very much since I
upgraded, but I will say that I have Outlook open constantly and haven't
seen any FM or Outlook issues. I'm running on Vista, Core2 Duo 2.20 GHz, 3
GB RAM.

I did a comparison of RH vs. Mif2Go at the beginning of the year, and the
biggest difference I found was that RH supported Natural Language search.

Menu shortcuts were invalidated. They still exist, but they have no icon and

interesting thing was that
links within a chapter worked, but not links to a separate file.
I eventually combined my chapters into a single file. I had the latitude to do

I found that Frame 8 crashed with abandon. I now use Remote Desktop to my
previous Vista machine to do what I need to do.
