Both the deluxe lab and the Technicolor lab were auctioned within weeks of
each other. My friends got some cool things like power rewind and

Denver real estate is really messing up small businesses. It looks like
DR5.com is out of business for a while. They got forced out of their
building as well.

Some of us like filming flowers and butterflies Jeff ;) hard to do under a
photo flood. But you know what else would be cool for them to do? 100 foot
spools of 64d and 400d in 35mm for us eyemo users!

You are right. The Eyemo is actually quite versatile for experimenting.
I've actually put 100 foot rolls of Velvia through my eyemo (when Velvia
was available in bulk long ago). Camera original 35mm footage when
projected back is stunning. I've also bi-packed black and white footage and

plugging in a 1/4 to xlr unbalanced to balanced adapter and plugging the
other end directly into my Canon xh a1 camera. From there I just set the

I agree. I have a Canon XH-A1 and shooting right off of the screen in 24F
mode produces pretty decent results. In the following example I was playing
the film on an ordinary Kodak Pageant.

This is a reputable source. You just need to find processing.
http://www.yalefilmandvideo.com will process both b/w neg and possibly
reversal color www.dwaynesphoto.com will process just reversal color. I

The cheapest option for the bulb would probably be ebay. Most of the
auctions are priced at a fixed price comparable to
http://www.topbulb.com($60-70), but sometimes there are some for sale
in an auction format that
appear to top out at about $35. As for tape, perhaps Larry Urbanski would

Keep in mind Dwaynes Photo doesn't deal with b/w motion. Only E6 color
reversal.

You might consider attending the auctions of the contents of Technicolor's
lab and Deluxe's labs in Glendale and Los Angeles respectively. Auctions
are next month:

The idea here would be to stream your audio to a streaming audio service,
and the audience would use the app to listen to the stream. The big problem
is going to be audio sync. Typically services like ustream the viewer sees
or hears the content several seconds later. Even if you had the ability to

The reason Kodak is so challenged to continue making film, is the simple
fact of the manufacturing process. Kodak has only manufactured film on a
massive scale. They don't have the means to produce small or boutique runs
of various stocks. (Side note: Did anyone see that Kodak had some of their

Keep in mind that as others have stated you can transplant the tape into
