I have been rebuilding FreeBSD6.2 yesterday and I noticed a strange
flag: -DTARGET='i386-undermydesk-freebsd' or something like this. What is
this? I have set CPUTYPE=pentium4. I had expected something
like -DTARGET='i386-pc-freebsd' or something like this. Any idea?

I've seen at least one report of 6.1 being run successfully on a Dell
PowerEdge 1950 with a PERC 5/i controller using SAS RAID.
I can install 6.1 without any problems but when it comes to boot from
the RAID array, kernel cannot be found by the loader.

I needed Spanish characters, which are pretty similar.
Inside X it's even easier. I use KDE, so I go to
Control Center - Regional
are in ports.

Hello, I've just bought two new Seagate SATA drives and a Promise TX4
SATA300 controller. The disks and the controller is working fine but I'm
a little confused how I should setup them.
First of all I'm running FreeBSD 6.1. The disks are two 320 GB drives
who I'm going to use for storage.
Hello, I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I can't find the answer
anywhere. I've tried both google and searching the mailing list.
Anyway what I would like to know is how I change permissions on a mount.
I've got a new disk and I would like to mount it with the permission 775
so that my
/etc/hosts.allow.

I wanted to make my system dual or multiboot. I decided to loadding os NT
loader from Windows XP.
