When I'm trying to install p5-apache-DBI I'm getting problems with the
mod_perl extension.
I have now de-installed apache and installed apache22. Now when trying
to install mod_perl I get these error messages in the beginning. I

Your RAID system is only reported as one single device to the OS. To see status
of your RAID arrays you'll need to use the RAID mgmt software that Adaptec
probably provides.

My /var disk crashed this weekend. Now when I boot the system stops direct
after the boot-loader starts processing. No errormessages no nothing.
You should be able to boot into single user mode. From there you should be
able to do whatever you need in order to fix the problem.

If you wonder what kind of hardware you need I can only say that I
succesfully run my FreeBSD 5.1 on a p700 with 256Mb ram. It's a non
graphical server, but i processes bittorrent downloads an re-encoding
movies every hour every day without any noticebale performance issues
when connecting to it
When during startup is it good to start Tomcat 5.*, and do anyone have
any example scripts that can be of use?
This is probably very common knowledge, because I can't find anything
useful Googeling around.

I have a few harddisks, they sit in a vinum RAID-5 array, and I have
huge trouble on some of them. Due to lack of vinum support I started
to fipple around myself, ending up in a situation where I would like
to verify each harddisk to see if it's working.
Is there such a utility available?

about a missing *.so file in /usr/..somewhere
I ctrl-alt-del restarted and now everything is up again.
All references on how to connect via a JDBC-ODBC bridge is pointing to
the MDB Tools suite in general and the ODBC driver in particular.
But when I installed the MDB Tools from the port-system I found, a but
surprised, that the ODBC driver isn't there, alla the other tools and
drivers are there,
My NVIDIA Geforce2 card works great with the nVIDIA beta driver. I only
use the tv-out feature and everything is fine except the fact that after
10 minutes the screen is blank, no signal from the card. The tv-signal
