Ditto: http://infocom-if.org/disclaimer.html It's not affiliated with Infocom, and Zork has been out for a while. If you like those games, though, check out the IF archive at ifarchive.org; they have a TON of interactive fiction games. Skyler On Thu, May 21, 2009 at 4:17 PM, Robert Riebisch wro

Also, you should be able to find the manual, which is basically a downloadable version of the wiki... I think it's in CHM format, but there's probably a DOS CHM viewer out there somewhere. ;) Skyler On 3/18/09, Mateusz Viste wrote: > > On Wednesday 18 March 2009 17:57, Alexandru Fira wrote: > >

You can see your hard disk, just not access it? Did you have Win2K/XP/Vista installed on it before, or still have them now? If so, those use an NTFS file system which FreeDOS won't be able to use. On Sat, Feb 21, 2009 at 4:54 AM, smkururu wrote: > > Hi, I need a help, anyone here know how to acc

Have you tried using a different shell, e.g. 4DOS? This reminds me of some problems I had with the default command shell a while back. I switched over to 4DOS and haven't noticed it since. Skyler On Thu, Jan 22, 2009 at 6:07 AM, Blair Campbell wrote: > > Here is the exact error text from the Wo

That depends. First, go into your BIOS and see if it supports booting from USB; you should be able to find this out by going into the "Boot Order" menu. If there's a USB option, then yes, you probably can; otherwise, no, you'll have to find a floppy drive somewhere. If your computer is new enough
