Where is the reset button?
I'm assuming
The motherboard reset button is right near the PRAM battery (yes--the
half AA sized lithium battery).
If that doesn't work, unplug it and take the PRAM battery out and
leave it unpowered overnight.

That don't sound to good. It's possible that the G3 doesn't pull as
I replaced the 266 MHz G3 with a 450 MHz G4 and changed the jumper
position to get a 83.3 MHz bus x 5.5 = 458 MHz G4. It has run
flawlessly for a month under 9.2 and OS X 10.2.8. The G4 chip I am
using has a bad L2 cache, nevertheless I wanted to try again to enable
it so I kept trying
I'm not familiar with LiIon, but with NiCad chargers will refuse to
charge a dead battery. I just manually put in a small charge to get
the terminal voltage up to an acceptable level then the charger
finishes the job. I have some really dead NiCads that respond to this
treatment. Safety

You need to look at the Grackle chip on the motherboard to see if it
can support the 83MHz bus speed. There were two

Home Depot has the Monster Power surge protectors, which is what I've
been using for the last 7 years or so. I'll probably go get one of
those to replace this one once they plow the roads so I can drive! I
don't have any way to test the pram battery so I may just replace it.
I think I'll replace

It is the 66 MHz, but it has run rock solid for months, until I used
one L2 enabler (I do not recall which).
How did you know the L2 was bad?
OS X reads 0 and I have never been able to

Hi, I just installed a PCI SATA card in my DA, and I'm having trouble
with Classic Mode. I used Carbon Copy Cloner to transfer the old
system from the PATA drive to the new SATA, and some stuff didn't make
it. After some software reinstalls, I'm almost back to normal, but I
keep getting this
