Hi,
Try to play as a client. Use the beta 9h version, so there will be
servers. Choose a server, and create a game and invite players when
they arrive. Or wait for an invitation. Try for example Sebo's server.

If I install regular quake mods will they work with audi quake in the same way

If so, do I install the mod in quake or Audio quake.
There are hundreds of mods that sound brilliant, but not unless they work

Incidentally, Jedi Quake is brilliant,

Hello James.
Lw stands for lone wolf, which is a very nice self-voicing submarine audio
game from Gma games.
For more information, including a free demo to try out, go to

Hi Shaun,
I hate to burst your bubble but you are way off track. STFC is not,
never was, an original series Trek game. STFC takes place sometime after
First Contact, and before Inserection. Ever notice the Enterprise is NCC
1701-E, the Sovereign-Class version, as seen in Star Trek 8, 9, and 10?
Hi,
If you are talking about the demo I released a couple of years ago there
were a lot of sound upgrades as well as lots of other changes. If and
when I take up the project again I will be rewriting the game core in
Java as to make it fully multiplatform.
Ryan Chou wrote:

Hi Dark,
Absolutely correct. STFC is TNG era, specifically the time period
between First Contact and Inserection, and Trek 2K is TOS era.
However, while Trek 2000 is original series the sounds are not really
authentic. Some sounds have been taken from TNG which makes it sound a
bit weird.
It is one! fun! game!, but if you blow it, you're sunk! (grin)

Hi Dark,
I Could probably mod Lonewolf to sound quite a bit like a Star Trek
game, but there still would be some elements that would not fit well
into that theme.
Perhaps when MOTA and Raceway are no longer an issue perhaps I can write
a Lonewolf style Trek game where you command one ship
Hi Claudio,
Pardon me, but I really don't understand your question. It is really
confusing the way you asked it.

no. All you will have to do is select the version for your operating

You have to understand that there are some legal issues involved in a game
like that. Even if he released it as freeware there's a chance he could run
into trouble with Lucas Arts. And they're nasty when it comes to copyrights.

The game doesn't completely lock up, it was something else locking up, I

But this is what I experience. It seems like, if I'm in the underground

Hi Folks,
I
I think that has to do with the fact that the game uses midi files. When the
midi file ends it causes the game to hang up. That's one reason I stopped
playing it. It just didn't feel true to the game if we had to wait for the
music to start again.

Hi Nicol,
I experienced the same problem. In my own testing of midi play back a
long time ago I found midi files don't always loop well in games. If you
aren't careful in checking or getting the play status of a midi
sometimes you get weird issues as with the accessible mario game.

As I have said before at some point on this list one issue is still the

STFC is a turn based strategy game where you get to command a fleet of 5
Federation starships against Klingons, Romulans, Cardassian, and Borg ships.

But please don't ask when it will be out.
Hi
Just do a google search for quake mods, the first site that
will come up is Planet quake. There's a ton of stuff there
including mods and extra levels and maps.
Incidentally, the maps work, you just put the map file in
your ID1/maps folder.
