Hi Phil and all,
Just wondering if anyone has tried putting one of the beeping balls in say the
right gutter at a bowling alley as a targeting sound rather than using the rail?
I would just still like to use the standard four step approach when bowling and
holding onto the rail throws me off.
Hi DJC,
Just wondering if you have tried playing Puppy1 and or Pong with your new game
controller? Most that I have talked to really like Puppy1 with a joystick.

In a broader sense, one definition of the word forum is

I think that the Audyssey list would fit.

That's actually an interesting suggestion. I bet klango could be made to
read text adventures. Not entirely certain but I imagine something could be
worked out. It could never be a fully-featured screen reader, but I can
definitely see it having a lot of potential andeventually expanding to
OF course not. It only uses Sapi voices to present its own output to you but
it cannot read anything else.

Well, technically a forum is an assembly or meeting place for open
discussion and the exchange of ideas, so really the audyssey list would fit
in that regard. But its not really a game related question and a rather odd
question at that so ... *shrug*.

Hi Jim,
Beeping bowling pins would be a great idea!
Or how about talking ones,
I'm the king pin, hit me for a strike!
You could control them with a remote control and if they talked they would
still be standing.
You would need headphones to hear them as having the talking pins on all the
alleys
Hi all
Just wondering and asking on behalf of a friend if anyone knows of a way
to enlarge the print/graphics? Or for that matter other ways to make it a
more playable online game.
TIA

Yes indeed!
Klango does have quite a lot of patential.
Now as Klango will be havin a web browser most likely, as they are
introducing RSS feeds to the 2.1 version, a web site for interactive
fiction games you can play online can be found at:

Hi Folks,
Slightly off topic but for those who have games that allow imported mp3
songs to be played as background music,
iTunes announced today that by April, there will no longer be DRM
restrictions on the music sold in the iTunes store, and most music
will be sold without DRM immediately.
Pong not yet but puppy1 yes and it's a bit tricky with a joy stick but it
works terrific.

OK Lelia, am going to try and explain as best I can. Air hockey is a game,
where there are one or two players at each end of a long, rectangular table.
Each player has like a flat round saucer attached to the base of a short
stick, and then there is a round disk, the puck. I don't know how it's
I have now played pong with my new game controler and it's slick. You can
move faster using the joy stick so you have a better chance of hitting that
ball. Again I'd like to say I am really impressed with this game controler.

This is overdue but at least the digital music age is actually becomming

Hi all!
I have found a projekt that is very interesting.
It is a program that will allow you to use second life with jaws.
The program is in it's beta, but you can download the beta already.
The projekt is under the gnu license, so any developer who is interested can
work at it.
Please note

Hi,
no. It is an e-mail list not a forum. A forum is a message board type
system where people post messages on a web site. An e-mail list is

and it sends copies out to everyone on the subscription list rather than

I have un-installed Winfrotz TTS and put it back in again today.
I started up PlanetFall and then tried to restore a saved game.

Perhaps the old DOS 8.3 name restriction?
