Hi.
this is really to damien, but anyone else is free to chime in too.
As I've been cleaning up the database recently and removing old entries, I've
noticed that the older abandonware titles previously hosted by x site (and
presumably on Damien's todo list for eventual reworking), are no
Hi Dark,
I am no longer hosting Danger City, Self Destruct, Savage Gamut or any of
the older games. I was planning to do a revamp of Danger City and the Savage
Gamut. However looks like someone is already working on another boxing game,
so looks like it may be just the Danger City revamp then.
Thanks for letting me know.
Perhaps the games can be hosted elsewhere?
Beware the Grue!
Dark.

Hi Dark,
I would rather they were not hosted. They are incredibly buggy and they are
being redone anyway. I am in the process of redoing Giftanum as an open
source project, I plan to redo and revamp Danger City (maybe call it
something else, add new sounds and fighting music and the like),
Never heard of the last one. Do you mean giftinum?

I'm afraid I disagree with your motive not to host the games because they
are buggy.
They are abandonware, and you are not the initial programmer therefore are

I don't know. I never really looked at Quest, but I can say Inform 7

Hi Tom.
An interesting fact about the original inform zcode system which infocom
developed in the 80s was that apparently being cross platform was actually
built into the language sinse at that point there were various computers on
which to run the games, apple, comador 64, comador amigar, zx

Could I first of all please ask you all to calm down? From what I have seen,

I think It's not so much the reports themselves that people are really

That's the first I've heard of that. I also thought it wasn't working but it

Hi Matheus,
I'm glad you liked the demo. I'll certainly have to do more of these.
While I intend for this game to be a bit closer to a boxing experience, it's
still a modified clone of Punch-out. For those who haven't played the
original, the player had a small but effective list of maneuvers:
Hi Willem,
Thanks for saying so.
As for probability factor, I'll have to give that one some thought with
regard to building it in. The way the system is designed to work right now,
you could likely achieve the same result if you created a rare punch on a
switch with other, less involved combos.
The synthe speach isn't going to be a permanent fixture. It'll still be
there in the full first version but as I understand it he plans on replacing
it with human speach as soon as he can. As for moving, as I said, you need
to exit each message with Enter. You'll know you're on the main game
Hey Dark,
I'll have to give this one some thought. I have a specific plot in mind for
