[Audyssey] a dark room?

Hi guys.  

I have bene playing a dark room.  I have a few questions however:
1. is the only way to get cured meat to go to the house and battle with the old 
man?
2. If you use up food to get somewhere then how do you battle with whatever 
creature you encounter if you have not got many hit points?
3. when I go back in to the room it tells me I should gather more wood. Why do 
I need more wood?
I think that will do for now.

[Audyssey] children's game?

 things like dungeons work exactly, still it's an interesting one.
 
 One very odd mechanic is that the game is actually real time like a mud, but 
 the developers have put a lot of work into making the game accessible. All 
 new events get instantly spoken, whether random occurrences or standard 
 things in your history, and even though everything in the game (including 
 hits in battle), works on cool down timers with percentages this presents no 
 access issues at all.
 
 The only thing I haven't really got thus far is exactly how this fire thing 
 is supposed to work, since while I keep stoking the fire in the main dark 
 room hub of the game I'm not exactly sure what it does, though I'm guessing 
 bad things happen if you ignore it for too long.

HI.  I read somewhere that to get the alternative ending we shouldn’t build a 
hut? is this correct?  Ok, what do you mean by clearing a location?  If I go to 
the old house the old man is always there even after I have killed him. lol

 button. Even if you won the fight, hitting  retreat basically takes you out 
 of the hole thing. You need to carry on hitting continue even if you  are

 give you the chance to build more weapons, and once you find some other 
 resources you can take those, just remember that the more weapons you 
 carry with you the more chances you get to attack. Armor can be helpful 
 too, as can bolas if you   run across them.

mine craft and it can get very complex.  the game very much depends on what a 
player does. e.g. if you do certain things you get chickens that lay eggs. but

 certain individuals this is indeed why I have been so careful to research 
 Windows 7 to the best of my ability and convenience.

 like QT, you’re never sure if something is going to read or not. Not saying 
 it’s always the case (look at downcast or iWork which are cheeper than 
 anything on Windows and work either as well or better), but more often than 
 not I’ll admit to looking for a cracked version for an app, testing its 
 accessibility, and then buying it, or not, depending on how that went.

 While I take your point I think your biggest problem comes down to
 unfamiliarity and lack of experience with the OS rather than the user
 interface itself being bad. Remember you only used Windows 7 for a
 very short amount of time and you have not had the time or experience
 to learn how to do things differently from XP which causes
 frustrations and a dislike of the new user interface.
 
 For example, you said it gets on your wick trying to find the Shutdown
 Button. It is not hard to find at all. Just do control+escape, hit the
 tab key three times, and you will land on the Shutdown Button each and
 every time. Not complicated at all, but I figure you probably sat down
 to that Windows 7 machine and tried to navigate the Start Menu the
 same way as the XP Start Menu. Obviously, that won't work and you need
 to relearn how to navigate the Windows 7 Start Menu because it is
 arranged totally different.
 
 My point being is you hate the new interface in large part because you
 don't know it. It is unfamiliar to you. You have to forget about the
 things you know and have someone teach you new shortcuts and ways to
 handle the interface, and for you, at least, there is no benefit in
 doing it other than for the sake of upgrading. That's fair, but do
 recognize your dislike has less to do with the interface being bad but
 more to do with your lack of experience and familiarity with it. I
 think if you had as much experience with Windows 7 as XP you would
 probably feel differently about the interface.

 tree, (one reason for the fix of showing skill requirements which I
 suggested for the game).
 
 With windows 8 and 8.1, well I'll have to see if I can find a system running
 
 it I could try at some point, and I do in fairness see advantages to things
 
 like weather and basic news alerts on the desktop, (I like having it on my
 Iphone).

HI.  I agree with you about new operating systems.  When I first got my mac.  I 
didn’t think I’d ever be able to learn how to use it.  Now I consider myself a 
fairly proficient user.  I think it can sometimes take quite a few weeks if not 
months to get used to an operating system.  I think in the end it comes down to 
personal preference.

Hi.  I still have my music organized in folders and sub folders.  If you add a 
track to the itunes library for any reason then sure, it will tag it etc but 
all my music and stuff still stays where I put it.  There are also a few media 
players for mac such as vlc. If there is something I want to do in windows that 
I can't do on the mac there is vmware or bootcamp.

HI.  just tried the web client and it's very cool.  the only thing I've noticed 
is the card that's played isn't always announced. Am using a mac with voice 
over. Will be interested to see how well this works on a smart phone.

Hi

If you have audio boo I did some boos on how to play one foundation. Feel free 
to follow me and check them out. my ID is bubbygirl. I will try to explain in 
case you don't do boos.
You have the pack of cards which you can draw from, then you have the 
foundation card.  This is the card you have to place other cars on. the object 
of the game is  to use all the cards. So, let's say the foundation card is an 
8. Look through the cards that say exposed and if you have a 9 or a 7 double 
tap and the card will go on top of the 8. The new card is now your foundation 
card. So let's say it was a 9. Now you can put a 10 or 8 on the 9. Once you 
have made all possible plays draw another card from the pack.
