Re: [Audyssey] world of war query

2013-04-13 Thread Matheus Rheine
Hi, here's the download link for the game, the developer is redesigning
the website but currently it's very hard to navigate because it's 100%
in japanese, it seems that the download of bk2 is also broken, it's
giving a 404 error, I'll see if I can contact him and ask for a very
basic english version of the site with at least the names and links of
the games.

[Audyssey] corruption of champions

2013-01-17 Thread Matheus Rheine
Hi everyone!
I've played this game a while ago and gave up, started again yesterday
and if we count these 2 days i've played more than 12 hours so far, i'm
on level 11. this is a text based single player storytelling/rpg/sex
game... I think that bladestorm360 found it at first and mentioned it in
the ag forum. this game is in the same style of the if game flexible
survival. If you've played the hellmoo and found it disgusting, stop
reading and delete all e-mails with this subject right now. Hellmoo is a
game for kids compared to this one.
I can't say more because it would be inapropriate here, but if you like
rpg's and adult games go check this one out. it's playable with nvda.
here's the site:
http://fenoxo.com/play/

this guy updates the game frequently so i recommend checking the site at
least once per week to download the latest build. you will need flash
player in order for the .suf file to work(if windows asks what program
you want to use to open the file just use internet explorer or your
preferred browser).
hope you all enjoy the game and don't get too addicted like i did, i'll
stop for a few days though. lol!

[Audyssey] action game for ios: sixthsence

2013-01-08 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi everyone! i've just discovered a new zombie killing game today called
sixthsence.
here's the link to the app in the us app store:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sixthsense-all-new-3d-sound/id580417319?mt=8ign-mpt=uo%3D2

this is certainly a new gaming genre for ios, i've never saw shooters
like this before. the game is really difficult! trust me, you will have
lots of fun playing it, first because the audio is great, and the aiming
system is also very interesting, you will have to simple aim in four
directions: northeast, northwest, ssoutheast and southwest, and in the game
instead of telling you that, the tutorial try to help you by telling
different things, positions from the clock, i've never understood
how this method works, but i know that some blind people use the clock
to represent for example where certain food is located, for example: the
meat is at six'o clock, the pasta is at 12'30, etc. oh well, i guess
it's just different ways of viewing/learning the direction of objects.
i can confirm that the game works on ios 6.01 on my ipad 3, as i said
there seem to be some very small bugs(like the grenade doesn't reset to
1 if you don't start a new game it seems) , but it's awesome.
when you're in the main menu, turn off voiceover because the woman's
voice will guide you step by step just like the other game audio
invaders, you can either drag your finger or tap certain parts of the
screen to listen to different information, double tapping an item with
voiceover off does the same thing: activates it!
you need to play a lot to gain gold to purchase the other weapons. to
play the game it's almost like the arcades, you need coins to play,
there's coin / gold shops for you to spend your precious real money to
get things faster, but when you play for a bit if you wait a few minutes
the coins recharge, so never mind, i won't spend any real money on it,
but that's just my personal way of dealing with it.
so the gameplay works like this: you can change weapons by tapping with
two fingers, pause the game with three fingers, shoot by pointing in the
four directions that i mentioned earlier(be very careful because your
finger need to be very precise in order for it to work, anyone remember
the game daytona for pc by aprone?), in the start it
will be frustrating but you will get the hang of it eventualy.
moving your finger down you can reload the gun, and when a zombie is
chasing you shake the device like crazy to escape. and that's pretty much
it. be sure to use good headphones otherwise the experience won't be all
that pleasant. hope you all enjoy the game, this developer is simple
awesome, that's why i believe that the future of games for us is on ios!
happy playing and grab the game while it's free!

Re: [Audyssey] King of dragon price?

2012-11-17 Thread Matheus Rheine
Hi dark, there's no demo available, you must purchase the game to try it. It
works well with vo, it just takes getting used to.
I particularly find the game very hard to play because there are many things
that you should remember, so much info, for example sacrificing to x god will
give you certain benefits, some years are better to harvest, to attack other
clans, etc. also there's the map which is a bit confusing for me, but if you
like explorations, RPGs and storytelling get it, I know you will like it. Happy
playing!

I've looked at the manual and tips and such, and the game looks very nice,
however just because I'm new to vo, I'd appreciate trying it first if possible,
particularly because seven quid, while not the earth is still a trifle on the
expensive side for an Iphone game.

I believe Zack mentioned something about the game being shareware, ie, that
there is a demo to play before trying the full version, and certainly that's
how it's listed on the audiogames.net db, however I don't see anything like
that on the ap store entry.

Is there a demo version, and if so, how do I try it?

if not, never mind, I'll just buy the thing and chance it, although it does
slightly sound like jumping in at the deep end as far as vo is concerned.

If however there were a demo mode I'd appreciate trying it, particularly
because my stupid service provider still! hasn't activated my phone on their
mobile network so I can't actually phone anybody.

Beware the grue!

[Audyssey] ios: zday survival(haven't tested!)

2012-04-26 Thread Matheus Rheine
hey everybody! here's one more game for ios, but this one i haven't
bought yet and there's no free version, it costs $1.99, so if you're
interested in trying it out, if it works i'll definitely buy it, it's a
text based game, i'll past the description bellow:

For iPad, check out the HD version.
Universal application. Requires iOS 4.2 and higher. Works on all iPhones
and iPod touch, including older devices such as iPhone 3G and iPod touch
2G.
NOT COMPATIBLE with iPad 3, see HD version for iPad 3.

For those of a certain age who loved adventure game books, it’s the
perfect app to play and one that players will find themselves returning
to. Not least because they’ll have to be pretty skilled to ‘win’!

4 out of 5 stars - Jennifer Allen, 148 Apps.com

I've been having a blast with this since it's essentially gameifies
what runs through my head whenever I read or watch a piece of zombie
content, but it's also solid production-wise. I heartily recommend this
to anyone that still has an itch for zombies, or even an appreciation of
primarily text-based titles.

~ 4/5 stars - Brad Nicholson, Toucharcade

ZDAY is a 21st century text-based Simulator game that puts you the
player in tough, real-world situations. The game play is easy and you
can soon control it well.

~ 4/5 stars - Top10app.com

4/5 Stars - Dan Zuccarelli, Gamezebo.com

What better way to survive a full blown apocalypse than to PRACTICE?
This is not a traditional shooter or an arcade style game where you poke
buttons to shoot digital bullets at virtual zombies. ZDAY is a 21st
century text-based Simulator that puts you the player in tough,
real-world situations and says what would YOU do?.

Beautifully illustrated by renowned DC comics artist Matt Haley, ZDAY is
an intelligent adventure game that starts you in a crowded suburb at
ground zero of a full blown infection, and says what would you do?.
Faced with one scenario after another, the player has to make choices
that will either lead him to escape the zombie-filled suburbs or perish
like so many others. The sophisticated game engine keeps track of every
decision that you make, and keeps a running tab on your survival
probability based on the choices you make.
So keep your wits about you, and choose carefully, because one wrong
move could have you facing a zombie horde or roving bands of
trigger-happy looters.
The detailed results given after the player has completed the challenge
provides very useful insight to what he may have done right and wrong.
If the player wants to try again he can, and since the game engine
reshuffles many of the exact events, ZDAY Survival Simulator is never
exactly the same twice.

ZDAY Survival Simulator is soon going to be posting free updates to
expand the content and experience, but be warned, they won't get any
easier.

Re: [Audyssey] Poll: playroom on iPhone or on mac

2011-12-01 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi quentinc,
i would definitely prefer an iphone version, firstly because the
playroom would be accessible on the go -- no matter where you are.. on
the bus, school, street, etc. on the other hand if you developed the mac
version first it would be just like the windows version but for mac
users that are using mac can't play it with vmware fusion?
besides, what games do we have for the iphone? we have simple word
games, some other games that have a potential like papasangre,
nightjar, etc. these games are good, however they are too short. others
like aurifi are too buggy, almost unplayable, then stem stumper, naval
combat and mine sweeper that i consider enjoyable and playable,
and now the de steno games, but we don't have the original
monopoly,uno,1000 miles and other games that are extremely cool. it
would use even more the potential that the iphone has in terms of
gaming for us.
i don't know how much i could pay,the brazilian store is hopefuly going
to completely open the itunes store with songs, and i hope that games as
well, in december,if yes,i'll be able to use a credit card to buy
stuff, in this case i'd be able to pay some money, how much you think you
would charge for it? 10,15? or more?
thanks, and hope to see this project ported to ios in the future.

Hello listers,

I'm getting more and more demand to have an iPhone or a mac version of
the playroom. I'm going to you to have your opinion about that.
IF you are interested, please let me know ! Depending on your answers,
there will be followings or not. In other words if nobody give a
response, then I will conclude that nobody is interested and therefore
will definitely give up the idea.

1. Are you interested on a iPhone or mac version of the playroom ? why
or why not ? If you would have to choose between the two but not both in
the same time, whould you choose a mac or an iPhone version ? why ?

2. Considering that I don't have any apple machine myself, I will
probably need to let such an application developped by a third partie.
It will therefore certainly not be free. How much would you be ready to
pay for that application ?
The money whould be ideally shared between the developper of the
application and a participation on server maintenance, in the best case
50-50, and in all case I wont ahve a direct control on the produced
application.

N.B. To not leave any doubts on that
subject, the windows version will remain free as long as donations are
sufficient to keep the server up.

Please be constructive and complete in your responses. If you just say
It'd be cool without any argumentation, please avoid posting.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Re: [Audyssey] The app is finally here!

2011-11-30 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi michael, wow man, this app is just amazing, all these classic beeps,
and all the games we can now play on the go. i think that the ios
devices still need many many more games for the blind, i know,it's easy
to say and not do anything, but i'm not a programmer, and now considering
that there are 6 games in the pack, even including monopoly! and all for
free, this is just unbelievable, it made my day.
so far i just played casino, i have some suggestions to the screen
layout, for example, when it asks for the bets,it could switch you
automaticaly to the numbers and instead of having all these simbols it
could display only the 9 numbers, for example similar to when you're
making a call, and then show the delete/confirm option at the bottom
right corner of the screen,i don't know if it's possible though, because
i know that it just simulates the dos prompts,it's not a big problem.
later on i'll play some of the other games, and if i have any other
suggestions i'll tell you here.
thanks again.

Hey, Everybody.
The app is in the app store and the great thing about the app IT IS FREE!
The name of the app is call De Steno Games and here is the description
of the app.
This app has six classic text games with sounds and music, and it is
fully accessible with Voice Over. The six games were originally
developed by Richard L. De Steno, and were very popular with people who
were blind or had low vision back in the 90's. A blind person would use
a screen reader, which is a piece of software that allowed a person who
was blind or had low vision to play these games just like a sighted
person. Here is a description of the six games.

1. Atlantic City Blackjack: This game of blackjack is played by the
rules set by the NJ Casino Commission.

2: Casino: This game has a selection of four games which are blackjack,
slot machine, flash poker, and minibaccart.

3. Dodge City Desperados: You are the sheriff of the wild west town of
Dodge City. Your mission, take out the Desperado Brothers before they
take you out.

4. Destination Mars: In this game you will be taking a 35 million mile
trip from the Earth to Mars, but it won't be easy. You will encounter
different obstacles on this journey. Good luck space pilot

5. Run for President: Ever wanted to be president? Well, in this game
you are a candidate running around the United States on a Monopoly
style board in a bid to beat the computer and become president of the
United States of America.

6. Sounds Like: In this word game, you must try to figure out the
hidden word from the clues that are given.

Notes:

- Turn on Voice Over before playing the games. It will read the screen
changes automatically.

- This app was put together by the following people: Michael Barnes,
Chaoji Li, Richard L. De Steno, Jeffrey Dawson.
So go get it and have fun!

No I don't have a problem with you sending message after message about the app.

The three games are classic apple II and dos games.
The games can be played by both sighted and blind people alike.
I will share more information about it when it gets close to release.

[Audyssey] Awesome Homer comments

2011-07-20 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi jin.
wow, i never thought you would release a game of this type,it's so
addicting man, i'm trying to jump these bloody barrels on level 1, but
in the end it becomes so hard, i even try not to run, i have a question
though:
when i complete a level, and select start a game i'll be able to choose
the next level? cause if i die on level 2 for example, i'll have to
start it all again?
i think that you should make it similar to aprone's games, which allow
you to play the unlocked levels. well, but i can't comment on that
because i haven't even completed level 1 yet,lol!
also, i think there's a bug with the chainsaw, when i jump using it
instead of jumping the barrels i destroy them.
also in level 1,i should be running always left instead of right,or not?
some more explanations in the readme would be useful, but i'm getting the
hang of how to play the game.
i'm almost breaking this table, rofl! i was so pissed,i think i got more
than 10 in the first level,i was approaching the end!
ok,going to swim now and then play the game later,
keep up the awesome work and thanks.

[Audyssey] awesome homer suggestion

2011-07-20 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi jin!
i'm advancing a little more in the first level of the game,my best score
is 15. however, i have a suggestion to make:
after you get the chain-saw and start destroying the barrels,at some
time it will be disabled, but there's no way for you to know when it
will happen.
so it could happen when a barrel is coming, you would lose the game
instantly.
so is there a way for you to implement something that will tell when the
chain-saw will stop working,so the user could either run to the other
side,or prepare to jump?
some beeps,or changing the pitch of it.
or at least give the user 2 or 3 seconds of invinssibility when the
chain-saw stops working,so at least i have some time to jump the barrel.
thanks again,i can't stop playing this game man.

Re: [Audyssey] Simple/silly question relating to my own simplisticversion of an RPG engine

2011-06-03 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi jacob.
i'd suggest adding possibilities to both things, i personaly would want
to have some games ending with you collecting some item in certain
places and other games ending with you killing a boss.
but are you going to be making improvements to the engine to be a good
one, we will be able to add rooms, items and monsters, pluss npc's, name
everything, have various types of weapons etc to create, setting its
damage, value, everything? and how the combat engine will work, there
will be different skills and spells to add so we could create classes,
races?
i know that it might be simple, but we don't have a very simple rpg
creator, we have inform and the other things, but they are not primarily
designed to create rpg, at least i've seen only 10 games or so that weren't
even rpg's, but only included some rpg elements using inform, tads, etc.
thanks and keep up the good work, i wanna test this thing.

of an RPG engine

Ok, have almost finished off very first version of a sort of experiment using
the python programming language, where I'm putting together a sort of RPG game
engine
- very simple at this stage, were it will let you quite easily create your own
world/environment, add bad guys to fight, etc., but one question to finish off
this
version.

Basically, what would be a simple, but relatively meaningful way to say that
you'd completed/won the game?

As in should I make it something like placing a collected item in a certain
location, or should it just be that you solved some form of puzzle and
therefore made
it to a specific location, or should I keep it open to both/either-or?

Will again just say that this is at this stage a very simple thing which I
might build onto, but I primarily used it to get comfortable in what is a new
programming
language to me - and the one other joke is have now found out that python is
literally/officially named after monty python...smile

Stay well

Re: [Audyssey] Simple/silly question relating to my ownsimplisticversion of an RPG engine

2011-06-03 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi jacob.
this will be really good, especialy if i could play it on my symbian phone as
well.
if i create a game i'm definitely not going to add puzzles like the if
games add, only puzzles specific to kill x enemy and hide the item in
theyr body, etc.
the weapons could work just like the other things in the text file,
they could have a weaponname,shoplocation,value,mindamage,maxdamage,
weapontype
then we could have weapon types, etc. but i'll give more suggestions
when i see the first version, smiles.

Re: [Audyssey] The First Trailer

2011-06-01 Thread Matheus Rheine
hello ryan
i really love the game, now we are talking about a good boxing game,
much better than what savage gamute or whatever it's spelt was. the game
was ridiculous in my point of view, because it was more like a bop it
game remembering when x sound played to press y key and then pressing z
key to punch again but with all the keys you had do remember it was
inpractical to play, at least for me.
are you going to be able to move during the fight?
thanks and keep up this awesome job. looking forward to the final
product.
btw, will it be free or shareware?

Hi everyone,
I checked the archives last night, and it appears this message didn't post.
Sorry if you get this twice.

Hey Dark and Tom,
I'm glad you guys liked the demo. Thanks for the kind words.
The mechanics of the editor, while fleshed out in my mind, are certainly not
all in place at this point. As I mentioned in the demo, I need to add
opponent speech at the very least.
As for your question, Dark, about what happens in a timeline, there are two
things that will be built into the final product. First, each round will
have its own timeline, so you can design opponent behaviors according to
which round they're in. Second, the timeline will contain the ability to
program in custom combos and set them up on a switch. If you want the
opponent to randomly choose between two sets of punch flurries, or if you
want him to adopt a certain behavior depending on his health, that will be
completely doable.
It will be possible to hit an opponent while they're speaking. Just program
an unblock at the same time as you program opponent speech.
I haven't quite figured out how I want custom opponents to fit into the main
game. The goal is to have a set list of opponents that I design, complete
with some crazy behaviors. Defeating all these opponents in sequence earns
you the title belt. After winning the belt, the player can play back through
the same list of opponents, but they'll be much harder to beat. I figure the
custom opponents can be challenged individually, and I could even see a
precedent for setting up a tournament of custom opponents, but I'm not sure
how I feel at this point about players setting up secondary story lines. I
worry that may detract from the main thrust of the game. Still, I won't rule
it out completely. After all, the credit for combos and random switches is
all Che Martin's, and I'm happy to implement it.
Tom mentioned having custom sounds for the various opponents, and that's
something I fully intend to implement. As you noticed during the demo, the
clown taunted the player between the first and second rounds. I want to add
all sorts of things like that: impact sounds, taunts between rounds, intro
speech, in-round taunts, body falls, etc. As for music, I haven't given it
much thought, though I suppose you could just drop in a piece of music at
the beginning of each round timeline if you really wanted.
Thanks for all the feedback, and thanks for the interest. Feel free to let
me know if you have more questions.
Best,
Ryan

This is deffinately sounding good, though as Thomas and others have said,
I'll be extremely sorry if Jaws is the only output alternative for the game.

Personally I'd like a sapi option sinse direct output from programs to Hal
hasn't really been worked out yet, and anyway i'm quite happy with
daniel as my default sapi voice in games.

The opponent editer does sound interesting indeed, though one thing I find
myself wondering is what happens when you get to the end of the pattern?
Does it just repeat?

And is it possible for you to hit opponents while they are speaking?

Also, while I understand the game will feature a crowd sound to give you an
idea of how well your punches hit, will there be an option for adding custom
music to opponents, the way game likes street fighter tekken and virtua
fighter did. That would be a nice addition to the game.

Possibly as well you could considder extending the opponent editer to let
people create tournaments, ie, strings of opponents who must be fought in
series possibly with a prerecorded ending to finish things off.

Other than that I'll be interesting to see how things go.

For a boxer name, sinse your grey matter productions how about mat grey? ;D.

Though as so much in the game is customizable you might also considder
having your name be editable, though obviously this won't be possible if
your planning on opponents that taunt you by name.

I'll stick some news on audiogames.net about this one sinse I think people
will be interested in the demo.

Re: [Audyssey] mota

2011-05-25 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi will, i totaly agree with you. look what has been changed in this
beta! removed joystick support and mouse support! it wasn't perfect but
at least it worked, pluss the audio with fmod, going back to sdl, i
think that you will create mota in all the programming languages
available, lol. just kidding man, but onestly you aren't going to sell
more copies by adding linux or mac support, yep, you might get some more
peoples to buy the game, like 10 or so, but that's it(that's my point of
view at least) and if linux or mac users can play the game, there's
always the vm possibilities for now. see, while others are working on
new titles you're announcing new betas of mota for more than 2 years,
pluss if we count mysteries of aztecs and montezumas revenge / return i
can't even count...
even the developers that develope game for the sighted stick with
windows most of the time(unless there's a very good platform that allow
then to use and create the game in more than one system, like steam)
you will never be able to make everyone happy. if i were you i wouldn't
announce these betas to the list, i would simple design the game the way
i wanted and point. yep, there's the preordering issue, but you're a
different developer, you're not james north and you don't need to give
*the same* product that he was going to release, and also because some
peoples preordered it doesn't mean that all the requests should be added
just because they preordered it, or because you need to finish the
project fast.

hi tom et al,

can't you just release mota as it was in beta 18 i.e. finish the levels and be
done with it?
all these betas are now getting rediculous, i know you and I want mac support
as well Thomas but most of us are on windows, not Linux.
I'll be dead by the time you release a game you actually have created yourself
*smile* or too deaf to play.
You keep on saying how you are irritated with the project, and all of us on the
list here can empathize but surely if you just worked on the other levels beta
18
was fine as it was in my view, and then you can work on titles like an fps
game, that you as a developer, really wish to work on.

[Audyssey] project yugioh - english version ready, need testers!

2011-05-24 Thread Matheus Rheine
hey everyone.
some years ago i said i was going to translate a yugioh game to english
using my vipmud scripting skills.
however it did not happen for various reasons. it's really hard to
translate a program using only scripts.
some things just weren't working properly at all.
but now the main developer sent an email to me 10 minuts ago saying that
the beta version of the yugioh translation is complete, even the manual
explaining how to play, everything!!!
you know what's the best? it's a online game, and we have no game that's
similar to this one. if you ever watched yugioh you will know what i
mean. we have lots of cardgames like solitaire, spades, poker,
blackjack, no thanks. i'm not interested in it, it's quite nice to play
sometimes, but i want something much more advanced and more
entertaining.
in this game you have a deck of cards and should add monsters, spells
and traps to it. in total there are more than 300 cards, so the
combinations are unlimited. no game is going to be the same.
i'm playing it for years and it's still a lot of fun to play.
you will even be able to play with sighted peoples and peoples from
brazil, since the game is running in the same room.
to make it work, do the following:
be warned that the first part to connect is in portuguese.
point your favorite telnet client to
intervox.nce.ufrj.br
port 1963
when you're connected it will ask you to press enter. just do so and
some more messages will come, saying the number of peoples connected in
the chatroom. we're not interested in this information, ignore it
altogether and type -cartas remember to include the - before the word
cartas
to go to the room that's always open and have the bot that we're
interested in running.
ok, now we are in the room, you should press - to disable it from
appearing before the messages, it's anoying!
now it will say in the end of the messages that if you want to play in
english you should just type eng1.
do it and start reading the manual, it's everything in english! well not
100% for now because remember that it's just an initial version, however
it will be improved.
hope you all enjoy it.
best regards.

2011-05-24 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi, a telnet client is just like a mud client, there are many
available, even windows comes with a telnet client by default.
the developer is in the process of fixing the manual and making it
available in the game, so i'll be able to give full details on how to
play and what this game is. but for now the article that phil posted
that's on wikipedia will give you a example. this game uses different
rules though, some of then are original.
it's still a bit hard to play because there's no manual, but in a few
days it should be ok.

Hi Shane,
I do want to convert some of my DOS games to Windows.
Some of them I have already done, and others I would not want to do as
others have done similar games.
Here is a list of the PCS DOS games and what I plan to do with them:
Games I will not convert as there are games like them for windows made by
others:
p c s space invaders,
P c s duck hunt,
p c s car racing circuit
monopoly
any night football
world series baseball special edition,
red dragon kick boxing challenge
a 2 z key search
mind puzzles
haze maze
mobius mountain math game.

Games I have already converted to Windows:
panzers in north africa, sort of like Tank Commander.
 Pacman Talks,
tenpin bowling

Games we sold that were designed by others:

Re: [Audyssey] periless hearts, was Speech on Blastbay products

2011-05-19 Thread Matheus Rheine
i wonder why sighted games can contain brutal violence, not only against
human, but animals and everything, just as an example check out one of
the call of duty games, i think it was modern warfare 2, it had a scene
that you had to kill innocent peoples that were in the streets, there
was no way of avoiding it, and it was shocking.
now why blind games can't have that kind of stuff? we are special and
different peoples in a perfect world were violence is nonexistent? we can't
have adult
games? only games with adult words like hangman, concentration, etc?
i'm glad that you can choose to kill these monkeys and i really hope
that you add even human vs human combat in the game.
this email is not to offend you phil, but just to comment on what you
said, if these peoples don't like what they see in the game, it's easy,
philip is not forcing anyone to play it.

Hi Philip,
I see a distinction between killing adult humans and monkeys.
Killing monkeys is like killing human children and babies.
Most of them are considered not aggressive and not as smart as adult humans.
It is good that you don't have to kill them to win the game.
Phil

 Hi Phil,

Personally I don't see this as a problem. You kill humans in games all the
time, and that's just as harmless as killing monkeys since in both cases,
it's obviously not real. You do not need to kill the monkeys in this game,
but you can. So if people don't want to, they don't have to. I think this
very much falls in the category of having to tell the difference between
real life and games, whether it be when killing humans or monkeys or
 wolves etc.

 Kind regards,

 Philip Bennefall

 Hi Philip,
Many people would object to the killing of monkeys in a game.
That is unless they could attack and harm you.
The same would apply to dogs and cats.
That is why in Monkey business, you can only net them and in Shades of
 doom
the dogs are mutant and will attack you.
If you want monkeys in the game you could say they were carrying a disease
 like rabies.Phil

Someone mentioned he had a lot of games out. I know of Towers of War, but
that's about it. I haven't been keeping up with the accessible gaming market
too much in the past few months. I tried Googling for a site, or somewhere
where I could find a game list, but didn't find anything. I think he also
had some non-gaming projects in the works from what I've heard. Is anyone
able to provide some links to any of his programs/games? thank you!

2011-05-13 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi aprone.
when you restart your computer you will have 40 more minuts to use it.
i don't see a problem with not having jaws support, peoples can just
download nvda which is totaly free and easy to use, heck, there's even a
portable version, but it's just my opinion.
will download and check it out, thanks!

I've just uploaded version 1.6b which has mission 7, the piranha species, and
limited JAWS 12 support. I downloaded their 40 minute trial but the darn thing
expired
before I could finish. As long as people are willing to hear Title is in
front of each spoken sentence, it does work. If I'd had only a little more
time I would
have finished it, so I'm wondering if I can just uninstall it and get another
40 minutes. Has anyone tried that before?

[Audyssey] for those having problems running tower s of war

2010-11-12 Thread Matheus Rheine
hi guys.
if you're using windows 7 or vista you probably will have some problems
downloading the game.
in order to solve it, onse you extract the game, search for the file
towersofwar.exe
in the game's directory and then press the applications key and choose
the option run as administrator.
since all dll's that the game require should be in this directory, the
system should register all of then and it should work perfectly.
if even doing it it's not working, install the winkit from jin kitchen's
website, the game also uses visual basic, so it should work.
HTH.
have fun with this fantastic game.
