Hi Cara,
Good post, and I'd like to add to your line of thought and discussion.
Not only are games not created equal not all programmers are equal to
the task he or she takes upon himself or herself.
I've seen many new amature programmers blindly think once they learn VB,
C++, C#, you name it
but the only way to make such games is to use the original sound effects
otherwise it wouldn't be authentic.

Hi Josh,
Now, you are seeing the problem we game developers face everyday. Let's
just say in the two years since I have been in business with USA Games I
have had numerous requests for Harry Potter, Spiderman, Batman,
Superman, Star Wars, you name it from interested folks wanting this or
that

when
he made star trek final conflict?

Hi Josh,
Yes and no. If you were a game developer and you had the sounds it
wouldn't be any different from writing other games. What makes the
difference is the skills, time, etc required to bring that game from
nothing to a reality.
When programming games it is kind of like playing God. You
it would be cool, but there's this little thing called copyrights

Hi Josh,
Well, I am certain allot of us would like to have authentic accessible
games similar to those in the sighted gaming world. Except for one major
flaw. Such game stories, sounds, and graphics are heavily copyrighted.
Anyone choosing that route of attempting to program a copy of a PS2 or

yes I know that. But the process should be available to a lot more people
once this audio game maker comes out.

Hi Josh
yes I see exactly where you're coming from, having looked at the code for a
game or two before.
