Hi tom. I actually know nothing at all about nvda, --- accept that it's supposed to work with doss. To be honest I've used Hal for literally 14 years now, so prefer to use it if i can, but that's certainly no reason not to ignore something else that could be helpful in certain situations.

Well, the good news is I've fixed my crash in Eamon delux, by the symple procedure of copying all the console windows settings in my laptop which I haven't monkied around with. The problem remains though, while reading the text is fine, stuff is stil getting chopped off the right edge of the

it's a 40 column display. That's why your screenreader can't handle it properly. There are some changes you'll need to make to one of the bas files. edit the file eamondx.bas and search for the following line of text SCREEN 0: WIDTH 40: CLS : COLOR 4, 0 Change it to: SCREEN 0: WIDTH 80: CLS :

For me the highlighting isn't a problem. I have enough vision to see the colour highlighting myself, I was simply thinking about people who do not and so would find a text announced symbol easier to handle. I have two other questions, is there a way to put Eamon into verbose mode similarly to
