What is the directory that contains the init directories (rc0.d/ to
rc6.d/)?
What's the answer to this? AFAIK, these directories do not exist on

I emerged mysql++ the other day and I'm trying to figure out how to
compile stuff with it. The docs make reference to examples and a script
called 'exrun' that I don't seem to have. What library do I need to
link against to use this? I tried -lmysql++ and it didn't work. Can

A lot of the bigger packages (qt, mythtv, etc. etc) tend to lock up my
PCs' hard drives while they're emerging. I use FEATURES=keepwork on all
my boxes, and I can usually go

issue a make and then make install after
bubble telling us that we have new messages. Is there any way
short of altering evolution's source code and recompiling to stop this

I've had a lot of problems with X today. I finally got X back up, but
when I went to check MythTV, it didn't work. I started tracking down
the problem. I went into mythtv-setup and it said that it couldn't find
any video inputs, so I examined /dev/v4l/video0. What I found was
