Similiar problems where reported for CinePaint. Look at your libtiff
version. If it has 3.8.0 update or downgrad. This libtiff version is
buggy.

PS: ICC conversion to CMYK is done in my version of the print plug-in not
in the tiff
nside the tiff reader, but stripped it out now, because
CinePaints internal color management can handle CMYK natively.
Anyway if You like to look into the old tiff code, let me know and I will
send it to anyone interessted.
