I am making a lot of images that I am indexing to 40 color. Is there a
way I can temporarily set the default so that it does not require me to
go in and change it on every image? Note--temporarily...I want to do
this for a little while, but then have the default return to 256.

Just what it says. I want to put a flat graphic on the side of a
silo--is there a way to map this image? I haven't figured it out yet.

Hi Zach--all I have is map to a sphere or a plane. There's no cylinder

Is there a way to use Macintosh fonts in the GIMP? A point to a
tutorial would be great...if it exists.

hould be able to open
it, but I don't know how. I have installed plenty of PS fonts, do not
use TT fonts, and would like to know if I can use this font (should I
ever learn how to unstuff the file).

is there some easy way in GIMP (or somewhere else if that's a better

Note how different each final e is. Is there a reason for this? This
is at 8X display, but it is a little visible at 1X display too. I'm
only using 20 pt font. However, reagardless, it does seem as if it
should do the same thing every time. Or does it?

Some nice demos of how color interacts when next to other colors...how
important perception is to design.
Some old ones, but a few I had not seen before.
