I think (at least for now) it should only effect routers. For example, if I have a setup with three routers we have to now do this (I hope these drawings come out fine...): R -- UML | \ | Subnet | \ SubnetR -- UML

[Gini-devel] Fwd: [gini] gBuilder bug?

The below problem is caused because no mask is set in the Switch. We should set the default mask if none is set using the standard IP class system. -- Forwarded message -- From: Julien Villemure Date: Sat, Sep 19, 2009 at 12:06 AM Subject: [gini] gBuilder bug? To: g...@cs.mcgill

[Gini-devel] canvas

2009-09-19 Thread Alexis Malozemoff
We need to improve the canvas. Here are some ideas of mine: - Can we make it so you can grab the side of the canvas and change it's size (like how resizing windows works)? - We currently have an "expand" button; we should probably have a "decrease size" button as well, as there doesn't appear to

Re: [Gini-devel] Router-Switch connections

2009-09-23 Thread Alexis Malozemoff
I say we wait for the changes to gRouter, which I believe will be done this weekend? We can then do the migration on monday and help people reinstall during the tutorial. On Wed, Sep 23, 2009 at 7:49 PM, Daniel Ng, Mr wrote: > In my current setup, I’ve allowed Router-Switch connections and adjust

[Gini-devel] PyQt 4.6

2009-09-27 Thread Alexis Malozemoff

Whenever you guys submit changes, can you also update the ChangeLog so we can keep it up-to-date? It'll be easier for users to know what changes have been made when upgrading. When we move to stable/ I'll post a link to the ChangeLog on the website. I've updated it for all past commits for versi

OK, so if I reinstall (i.e. remove share/ and call scons install) it works the first time, but breaks after that, meaning something is corrupting a file I guess? I pinned it down to some file in the UI/ folder, but can't yet find which file... On Sun, Sep 27, 2009 at 5:35 PM, Alexis Maloz
