I need some guidance here. I have a point vector, created using
v.to.points. Trying to select out some of the points using v.out.ascii
with a where= clause, but I'm getting a few points which do NOT match

The gdal_translate utility has a -srcwin option where you can speciify
row/col values to clip a raster. If your data is Geotiff to begin with,

Hi, i have a raster file about land usage (crops / urban areas ecc..)
I have defined some zones around some given points of a vector layer
and I'd like to calculate the % of those areas occupied by each value
of the raster file in order

This, of course causes v.dissolve to fail. Is this an sqlite
limitation?
(WHen I copied the same vector to a new one with dbf based attrib
table, v.reclass worked fine)
