As you all know, in the past we had arrangement with Technion's security
office about vehicle entry. And it worked well, till I went busy. So,
I'm looking for a replacement. It is very simple task, all you need is
to send bi-weekly fax to kabat instead of me.

Please, don't let to the agreement die.

It's really sad to hear it right now.
Why did you say me nothing last lecture?

How am I suppose to know about this type of "bugs" ?

Anyway I talked again with security office and they claim what all fax
were sent last time. And they sent it again today to the main gate.

Just ask the guardians to recheck their papers they received from Kabat's
office.

[Haifux] Entry Permission Form

2007-12-19 Thread Leon Romanovsky
Hello again,

As a follow up to previous mail,

I talked with Kabat's office and they suggested new way of our
communication. Instead registration, they agreed to allow vehicle entry
to everyone coming to lecture without any registration. The problem is
that we need provide schedule for a number of weeks before with their
agenda.

Is it possible to us be more responsible with schedule ?

Re: [Haifux] Entry Permission

2007-05-07 Thread Leon Romanovsky
My goal is to allow to everyone who will want hear lecture the
possibility to enter into Technion as a people do. Especially for
everyone who doesn't want come to every lecture.
Talk with Zvi(http://haifux.org/lectures/163/), and ask him how "easy"
was to allow entry permission to one time guests. And now imagine that
someone from undergraduate or industry will try to organize it.

I want that it will work without need of any "kombinot".

Re: [Haifux] Entry Permission

2007-05-06 Thread Leon Romanovsky
Thanks.
I think that the preferred way is to review report before sending.
There is more unnecessary complexity to require users register and after
that trying to secure the data (you know there are bad people everywhere).

But right now, we(me and Orr) have NO volunteers at all.

[Haifux] Entry Permission

2007-05-06 Thread Leon Romanovsky
Hi,

I talked with Amos (Technion's kabat) and he agreed to allow entrance
for haifux audience with vehicles.

His requirements are very simple:

1) Limit entry permission only to non-student (Right now we don't need
to think about, because we are small group).

2) Fax him report with ID, name and vehicle ID before lecture.

It will work only as a group, there is NO need to send one by one.

We need volunteers that will write the following modules:

1) Online registration form

2) Report compilation module

3) (If it possible) Report->Fax sending module (I can donate FAX-modem).

4) Status information for administrator via email.

There is possibility to receive support from GSO (Graduate Student

Hello.

First, introduction: Aur Saraf, second semester, mechanical engineering,
Mac Mini with OSX and IBM thinkpad that will soon be a double booted
Xubuntu/XP (XP for Solidworks and work at ClickTale, www.clicktale.net

Hello,

I wish to give an "about" lecture regarding the open source compiler FPC.
The presentation/lecture itself called:

This lecture is about giving different aspect regarding Object Pascal,

The presentation gives different aspects then you would expect from
regular "high-school/universities" material, and gives a really small

So I wish to know if there is any audience that will be willing to
