you'd need lots of money for a windows version but I have
been playing with QCad a little bit and it looks quite good for a 2D
cad app. It has autocad file compatibility. It is even in the debian
squeeze repository.

data. With a bit of work, a map could be created with the roads you
want highlighted. There are even sites that let you play with the map
style on-line, but you will have to search for them, as I don't have a
reference to hand.

the file using the gnome file browser GUI thing,
and that puts the mount point under ~/.gvfs/etc... but it puts a space
in the mount path that causes ghostscript to barf.

bash script that will copy the LaTeX file to a /tmp directory, run
LaTeX, dvips and ps2pdf, and then copy the result back. Long winded
but works for now, with simple documents without any includes. Would
rather get the file mounting working properly though.

the channels on that was a breeze. If MythTV could setup
its channels as easily, I would be a happy man! :-)
This may not be such an issue if the channels did not frequently swap
around in the run-up to 2012.

really feel it is a good idea, don't be put off by the negative
sounding comments in this thread. If you trial something, and it is
good, you will get support. However, if it turns out to be rubbish,
just don that fire proof jacket :-)

To get a MTBF figure:
Approx MTBF = ( Number of Devices tested * Test time ) / Number of failures.
As ever, that is not always
,
boot with a rescue CD, and mount it as is so I can copy the data
across. Then I create the single partition, and add it to the array.

expensive DAB radios must be bought. :-( Parliament has no idea how the rest
