FWIW I use System Guardian ( Standby Disk )
Back up daily to a second HD, fully bootable without having to go thru a
restore. Much more convenient then restoring from server or disk, and faster.
Has saved my bacon more then once ( and my customers ) least amount of downtime
of ANY backup SW.
external clones are not always bootable, I have had this work good for my
customers using the new Dell's with no room for another internal drive and most
of the time works fine. Worst case is a repair install.

I free'ed up 1gb on the boot partition but further investigation shows TWO
partitions on what looks like a 20gb drive with a 7,5gb FAT32 boot partition
and the rest NTFS
WTF. Hesitate to merge these partitions.
Curious why Sony did this.

Did a clean install of 08 for a customer and his tractor feed invoices did not
maintain formatting when the qbb file was restored. Trying to find out where
this might be. I had a similar problem with a clean install myself, a lot of my
customized forms ( invoices ) lost their formatting and had
it only needed to be re-assigned
as the default...

when I goto the bios to reset, on bios exit computer will not re post. reset

Have narrowed this down to the scheduled update feature in my SAVC
file dwhwizrd.exe.
When it runs it creates a endless stream of files dwh.tmp ( where is
random numbers)
It detects these as a trojan . So does my Webroot AV.

checked the LAN. 10 x 10. both directions.
installed the newer release and ( so far) still have lan access.
