Hi all, I've recently been messing around with CSGO and noticed that a few
patch notes ago that added a cvar cl_hideserverip which a server owner or
player hide their IP in the developer console whenever someone types status,
I was wondering why it was added to CSGO but not any of the other
the
server IP.

It was added due to CSGO servers being most vulnerable during
match times to external attacks.

It would be better if there was connectid command to go with it. I wonder why
gameserver account isn't available on csgo yet.

It shouldn't be too much of a problem. It's not like it takes a while to
set them up either if there really is a big demand. Are there any tips on
how to query the server as neither HLSW or Steam seem to be updated to view
the server. I've added ?Port and ?QueryPort to the command line. The only
ports are forwarded? My Steam shows my KF2 servers just
fine (as KFGameInfo_Survival) in the game column. And I don't know about
HLSW, but if you query it as RO2 it should work, at least that's the current
way to add KF2 servers to gametracker.
