I'm trying to print pdf's (and spreadsheets) on our high-speed mainframe printers. I've downloaded the AFP Printer Driver for Windows and the Infoprint Port Monitor that IBM provides. So far I have been unable to get these tools to communicate with a printer. I suspect part of the problem

RMF Produces an interval report which shows the queue depth during that interval. Also, if you look in the RMF Report Analysis manual you'll get some general guidelines about how to interpret these values. It has been improved to account for the number of engines in your configuration.

The host name would be the IP host name of your mainframe, the lpar where the printers are connected. Your mainframe network support folks can tell you the name to use. Depending on how your printer is set up and driven you may not be able/or need to use the port server. Are your printers

John, Make sure your TAPESPANSIZE is adjusted for your tape size. Also make sure that you have TAPEUTILIZATION set properly. Just a couple of thoughts about things that can affect tape usage. We are at 1.9, and use an IBM ATL with 3592 drives, and are not seeing this issue. ThanksRick
