As best as I can see, there are no error messages in the MVS SYSLOG. I
have no idea where to look or what to do to address this. Is anybody
else out there running Oracle on z/OS 1.8
Don't you just hate people who answer their own questions?
The problem was actually an S0C4-10 in an LE program: EDCEXTVR in module
CEEEV003 in CEE.SCEELPA. Then, something clicked that was mentioned
here about C programs and XPLINK(ON) now being the default in z/OS 1.8.
I put an XPLINK(OFF) in
Absolutely not! I hate people who answer their own questions and do not

At least your findings will keep several of us looking for that default
change when silly problems show up.
Thanks!

Hey DB2 floks,
If anyone would like to start a DB2-L group I would be glad
to make a try at hosting it on one of my servers.
What's wrong with [EMAIL PROTECTED] Currently has 3002
subscribers
Does anyone know of a discussion forum or listserv specifically for
Oracle on z/OS?
Thanks Matt

Don't I wish! I would love something like DB2-L! The best that I've
found, and it is moribund, is a Web site:

Yes. Well moderated and populated with developers. It has saved my
bacon numerous times.
In retrospect maybe they OP meant a DB2 like list for ORACLE?
