Make sure you have an odd number of twists in between the two CEC's. Each jumper cable counts as one twist. If you're connected via dark fiber then make sure that has a twist in the path. If you can't change the ends of the dark fiber you might be able to separate one end of an LC jumper

Bob, Are any of the PF Keys 13-24 working? It sounds like maybe the keyboard map in Attachmate isn't allowing the shift-key to work. I always use the "IBM 3191.ekm or "IBM 3191.xkb" keyboard maps in my InfoConnect/Attachmate session. Ken -Original Message- From: IBM Mainframe

Jerry, We have 5 CECs in one IODF. Are you using HCD or HMC? Either way it's possible to combine the three IODFs into one, I would probably do one at a time. #1) From the processor list you can COPY from the current IODF to a new target IODF. #2) Your SNA Network name needs to match

Mark, You've indicated that you have 8 systems in a sysplex does that mean 8 CEC or 8 z/OS systems? How many CEC's do you have? Are you doing POR for each CEC? In the RESET profile you point to the IOCDS slot that you'll POR from. In SYS1.IPLPARM(LOADxx) you should specify "**" in columns 10 &
