Title: Duplicate messages
Hi
all,
I have a weird thing
that has only seemed to happen on maybe 5-10 email boxes on one domain on our
server. Sometimes when the mail box gets to the %90 full mark Imail will
send multiple Full mailbox notifications. As I understood it would only

we would like to have the iMail virtual host name (imail.domain.com) be
different than the DNS host name (webmail.domain.com) iMail appears to
require the hostname to be identical to the DNS hostname.
Any work around for this?

many different ones.
On the binary file I opened it up using a Binary Hex reader but

We looked over the logs for the Ip and found this, could the problem be that

Makes sense to us here but we have triple checked our allowed IP's and we do

On that first line of our log...am I right in thinking that the 'suspect IP

Is there a way in Iail 6.05 to check mailbox sizes to see when users are
creeping up on their max mailbox size? I found the KB artical for 7.10 and
above but does not seem to apply to our version.

I have a client that had there domain on our mail server and now they have
there own mail server. We changed the domain's DNS to point to there new
server. What happens is that mail from any local domains (on our server)
get delivered to their boxes on our local server instead of their own mail
Since I have received no replies I guess the answer is no.
Will setting up my server as a gatway for the remote server do the trick?
I have read the KN artcles and it sounds like it would but I want to double
check with the experts :)

Scott,
Right, I agree! I realized what had happened. We had made an entry to the
hosts file before when we had trouble with them so our server was using the
old address from the hosts file and not checking their DNS. I took the
entry out so then the mail server found the correct info and the
in the command window. It just paused for a

simple.

I was adding a new host to our 6.04 server through the Imail Administrator

As I recall this was an occaisional artifact of that version of IAdmin that
became apparent when you tried to delete or rename a domain. I don't recall
which.
