When I lived in northern California, Radio Rossii on 279 was fairly dependable
and a good friend. It didn't interfere with NDB chasing, was well programmed
and the announcer was sooo mellow. The other frequencies were hit or miss, but

I was in Iceland several years ago (dead of winter for the Northern Lights) and
did some "DXing Lite". If this will be your first trip, don't worry about
