Steve had a good morning, as did I on the west coast. Pretty much an
exclusively Japanese morning with a total of 19 audios. The usual JJ power
houses were back with some pretty impressive signals, although I did note deep
fades.
For example, listening to the prolonged NHK2 sign-off of 828 JOB

Nick, I agree completely, but after 15:00 things really picked up. 1475 Borneo
I monitored between 14:38 and 15:42. A total of 15 audios with many more
"5s". Also 279 was a 7, and SQM was strong, as was ADK. Not much at all until
15:00 when things started to take off. Many of the audios only came through
after
15:00. My highlight was listening to 1475 Malaysia in pre

Fellas, I just uploaded two sound files. One is for our newest AM radio
station on the west coastCJRJ 1200 in Richmond, BC with a clip of their
music format and ID. Next is the sign-off of Malaysia 1475 this morning from
15:29 to 15:33
with the best signal I've heard all season. Both are
Just to alert you guys that Malaysia 1475 is again very well heard from 15:02

A MOST interesting session. Pretty much exclusively JJ it seemed, and confined
to the upper band. The lower band was very subdued, and it was only the upper
half of the upper band that really came to life, but after
15:00. Malaysia was great for the first 30 minutes, but was a bit more anemic
I had only a short window to monitor this morning, between 15:14 and 15:28 UTC.
13 audios heard, mostly on the upper band. Maybe not quite as strong today as
yesterday. Malaysia was there still, but a bit less
robust. VOA Thailand 1575 outperformed HLAZ today. Audios on 747, 774, 828,
1134,
