Congratulations again to Richard for his reception of 702-2BL on a PL-380
Ultralight and 8" FSL antenna in Oklahoma-- certainly a much greater
accomplishment than anything I tracked down this morning. And thanks also to
Steve for being the second TP-DXer to investigate and track down the

Hello All,
As Walt and Bruce have already reported, Asian propagation improved to a fairly
strong level this morning-- especially for the Japanese and Korean big guns on
the low and middle band. Several weak Chinese stations also showed up on 738,
936, 1044 and 1323, and

I just received confirmation from a Taiwanese DXer that 738, 1143
BEL3 isn't showing up along with it, though, at least once in a while.

Hello All,
As others have reported, it was an excellent morning for Asian TP signals,
especially from China and Korea. Since this particular location seems to favor
those parts of Asia anyway, the signals showing up here this morning were some
of the best received in years.

As often the case, no time for a detailed report, but I confirm Gary's
findings for Victoria, BC. No sign virtually of any DU activity,
except a weak 891. Otherwise the Asiatic big guns were all there,
often with very nice signal strength. Once again 1323 CRI Russian was

Hello All,
Fairly normal Asiatic conditions returned here this morning, and as a result,
738-Tahiti audio was long gone. The Japanese big guns were still down a little
in strength, but the Korean big guns (on 972, 1053 and 1566 kHz) were vibrant
indeed, and had the best TP signals of th
Hello All,
Asian propagation was fairly typical this morning for late September, with
the Japanese "big guns" producing vibrant audio, and many weaker Chinese
stations modestly rising above the noise level. The other countries were not
stellar performers, and normally potent 648, 657, 675 a
