Have you tried JAWS
or not. Besides, this laptop is on its way to heaven, so I guess it
may be just another part of its death rattle.

Hello all.
No, I am not here to bash. I just want to comment on one very nice thing
that Freedom Scientific does.
They encourage absolutely anyone to download the latest JAWS version, or
even earlier JAWS versions if your computer will not work with the
latest for some reason. You simply
Hi all.
When I use Outlook Express in my XP virtual machine with JAWS 12, I
don't recall experiencing this problem. This is the only JAWS I have on
my XP virtual machine currently. If anyone wants me to try it with
earlier versions please let me know.
Many thanks.

Hi.
Hmm, I would say JAWS acts very sluggishly initially and yes appears to
lock up. But once the store has fully loaded JAWS is happy again
smiles. This is with the 12 public beta.

Hello all!
I have noticed that the groups pages on Yahoo works a lot better with
the JAWS 12 public beta. An example is when you manage the members on a
group. JAWS now says, remove member, as well as the check box, rather
than speaking spurious or no information together with the check box.
It does; it's just not in the language menu anymore. It's in the voice
dialogue boxes, under synthesizer language.

So far I cannot duplicate this, however I will try this when I next use
JAWS 12 again.

Hi all.
You are looking for voice adjustments, which is new in JAWS 11. Previous
versions used global and/or individual voice settings. Now it's all in
one dialogue box, Voice Adjustments.
Hope this helps.

Hi List,
Hello all!
I am using Avast! 5 on my XP virtual machine and I like it! The user
interface is very JAWS friendly. I like the improved sounds. I also like
the fact there's an accessible progress bar now during a scan. I'll sure
switch to it if I can't trust MSE anymore.

Hello all.
I just want to report that JAWS 12 is working really well on Windows XP. I
am having some focus issues in Outlook Express when I use Gmail with Imap.
What about you? I don't mind installing Thunderbird as that's my main client
of choice anyway. But just wanted your thoughts. But so
