I don't see why not so long as the notebook's running Windows.

Open Add/Remove Programs and press Alt + O to set program access and

Thank you!
0f is a hexadecimal value, perhaps your computer is displaying this as
the best interpretation of corrupt data. Run a check disk on your
external drive and see if the file system is still intact.

You would use the letters instead of the numbers you are use to. Like the
letter K would be the replacement for the number five that you are use to.
You could also turn on keyboard help by pressing the caps lock key with the
number 1 in the top row. It wil say keyboard on or off, once it's on
Having just upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007, I find the following problems
with jaws 10. Firstly, insert+a to open attachments doesn't seem to work.
The keystroke is listed in Keyboard manager but it doesn't seem to do
anything.
Secondly when editing a message, cursoring through words jaws does

Can anyone recommend a firewall program that works well with Jaws 9? I was
using Sygate previously, but I don't think it's being supported any more,
and I'd like to find one that is still being supported. It does not have to
be free.
Look'N'Stop (www.looknstop.com) appears to be very good according to a brief
trial I had with it.

Hi Terra Syslo and all the others on the list!
If you are willing to pay for protection, I recommend F-Secure
Internet Security 2009. It works with Jaws and is very effective.
Check from the internet:

Hello:
I recently purchased the Acer mini note book. I wanted it for travel
because it only weighs two pounds.
I have found no problems with it working with JAWS. I purchased it at
Walmart so it could be returned if I had problems.
Good luck,

David, I haven't checked the site in a while. is the office 2007 spreadsheet

It might not even be a JAWS issue - rather, a windows one. (Your Windows
messenger beta fiasco refers.) have you any other program CD [not JAWS]
that you could try to install somethin, or even install, from?

Hi Alex.
You must never uninstall an older version of Jaws, without having uninstalling
the previous version first, because it will leave the system in a critical
situation.

There are several things you can try if the budget is no problem.
Duxbury works well but might be a bit expensive. I think NFBtrans may
still be available. I have found both quite satisfactory for personal
use.
