If I recall correctly, there used to be a command line you could type to kill JFW. You would open the run dialog box and type jfw along with some other stuff I can' remember. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I want to take this and put it in a shortcut so I can kill JFW when it's acting

well, just called her and we did these steps here, it still did it. so she gonna call FS tomorrow at her job. That was one thing I had tried first with her, even rebooted the lp, went all over settings comparing mine to hers, sure is a mystery it does that even if you set it to just characters.

If you made that change in the default settings then you will also need to go into the Word and Outlook settings and make that change in those individual applications. For some reason when you make changes in the default settings it doesn't change them in Word, Excell and Outlook.
