This is new to w-10.
This took the place of the Favorites bar at the top of the file tree view.
In older operating systems, When you had your C: drive highlighted, and did
a Shift+tab, you had the Favorites up top, where as now you have Quick
access.

It might be because I did not set up a Pin code, but either way, this was
not a step I had to hurdle in order to get it to use my account.

Yes, we finally solved the problem.
When I was talking to Microsoft support, the Tech. ran a Windows installation
file check troubleshooter, which took about 30 minutes to complete.
It found some corrupted installations files, it fixed some, and the Tech. told
me that Windows update would fix
says "Cortana," and I get stuck. Even when I type something, all Jaws reports
is the word, "Cortana," and perhaps another line. I cannot tab or use the Jaws
cursor.
