[kicad-users] Altium to EEshema or PCBnew

I am working with another engineer that uses Altium tools. He wants help on layout, and I'd like to use KiCAD to do it. What's the best way to move either the schematic or the layout from Altium to KiCAD? Has anyone done this? --CG

I'm having trouble generating a netlist that can be used in PCBnew. EEschema has decided that all C and R components should have pins A and B instead of 1 and 2. I'm using the default symbol libraries. PCBnew can't find the right pins on the modules I've picked, and this means the ratsnest isn'

It seems like the project folder path should work in both, but PCBnew doesn't like it. What gives? Why aren't the path options the same for both component database searches?

The 20080715 version of EEschema for Win32 is generating netlist pads for my C and R components that PCBnew can't handle. The netlist shows pins numbered "A" and "B", but if I look at the other components the pins are numbered "1" and "2" and so forth. Moving the whole thing into PCBnew generat
