The incident last month here in Starkville tells me I do not need one. The glider that came apart accidently fired the BRS at 171 mph and the sudden stop ejected the pilot out of the craft still in his bucket seat. He went through the canopy. Luckily he was wearing a chute (for the 1st time)

My two cents for what it is worth. Terry Teer had this problem and after spending weeks of trying this and that it ended up being a vapor lock in the fuel line. This hic-up only happened during taxi and you could set your clock by it. It would occur approximately 2 minutes after beginning taxi.

Robin, My canopy is approximately 3 inches higher than the standard so as to accept the Dragonfly canopy. I do not have a problem probably to the aerodynamic shape of the canopy. My KR has about 45 hours on it, finished it in February and it is the nicest flying aircraft that I have ever flown.
