Our little group of 4 from western Pennsylvania & eastern Ohio attended the
opening of Lace, Not Lace yesterday in Clinton New Jersey. It was well worth
the trip. The opening was very well attended. It was hard at times to get close
enough to view the exhibits because of the
Benton & Johnson! Yes, that was it. I couldn’t find them on the web any more -
thanks for the info that I should be looking for Toye, Kenning & Spencer.
Not that I want anything, but I do like to keep up with who the suppliers are
and where I can find them.

replied with this formula. It's way beyond what I can remember of

I have one of the globe lamps, a replica, beautifully made and I tested it
out. It works:-) I just got this little chink of light shining on the spot
I was working on. I have to say though that it gives you a new kind of
understanding and respect for the lacemakers of the day.
