Ahh
Quite a lot yesterday.
But the article about Viagra got me thinking.
Not to mention put me into my pet loathing of the Pharmaceutical Companies.
The epitomisation of all things evil almost as low as a certain
bearded malevolent stoat we all know.

The lolly sticks are applied before melting?
If not -- I can think of some very interesting and practical perversions :-)
Certainly more fun than Viagra and just as good.

Sean,
That's rubbish. Kilkenny is no world beater granted and I don't think he'd
survive in the premiership but the fact remains we are a much better team when
he plays and he has been our most creative and best midfielder this season.

Do you remember:
Preston 4-6
Cardiff 0-4
Cardiff 1-2
Sheff Utd 0-2
Leicester 1-2
Millwall 2-3
Palace 0-1
That's 7 defeats that all have one thing in common - Kilkenny didn't start in
them. Against Cardiff we were
I disagree that it's about individuals, it's more about what players we have in
what positions.
The team struggles when we play 2 wingers and Howson/Killa because neither
Howson nor Killkenny are good at shielding the defence. As much as I do not
rate Johnson Killkenny looks a different
Yes, its like the with Douglas without Douglas stats of a few years ago.
I think it's a pretty thankless role but vitally important

It's no coincidence, it was the same last season. Grayson dropped
Killkenny and tinkered with the midfield with the result that form
dropped. Once Kilkenny was back in the team form picked up again.
IMHO Killkenny is class at this level. We don't have any other
midfielder who works as hard

Dave,
I think there is working hard when you have the ball and working hard
when you don't and I guess I was thinking about his work rate when we
are in possession. If you watch his movement off the ball he is
constantly darting in to gaps to make himself available and always
That makes it valid to do a comparison to Becchio and see how many we won or
lost with/ without him.
That couldn't be coincidence either ;-)

Even if significant a statistic it means what you want.
I could reason that as he was so bad he was dropped.
The dropping unbalanced the team and they lost.
Meaning that he is filling a vital function but not doing so well and is
dropped.
It does not mean he shouldn't have been dropped
It may
