Will all this back being discussed again I'm surprised that there hasn't been
any mention on this list about the Dispatches program that was shown a couple
of weeks ago, especially as LU were mentioned several times as being
available.

Didn't realise he was playing till the 45 minute
Poor defending for the first goal, tightened up after that with less lapses
than usual.
Gradel, apart from the shitty pen, has run the hammers ragged and been good, as
has Clayton. Snoddy still looks off the pace, lees is lively but was at
Not sure what others think but I think we are by far the most lively team and
have the better players on the ball. I think this is our best team (maybe an
argument about O'Dea).
Say you want about White's defensive abilities but his pace got us out of
trouble even if it was a pen.
2 players
Remember also that the main inflationary increase over the last 20/30 years has
been in house prices, which aren't included in the various measures of
inflation (until recently when conveniently house prices are going down making
current inflation look less than it really is).

West ham 2-1 up Kisnorbo own goal, maybe he should be our penno taker. Seems to
have knocked the stuffing out of us

Agree with Rich, we were by far the better team until the OG. West Ham are just
a set piece team

Howson is
Well frankly I was very impresses indeed.
We have a goalkeeper two good full backs. Two decentish CH's.
Clayton is a revelation. I thought that Howson was good and did what he had to.
Where was Brown?
Snodgras Gradel are good. If we a forward playing we would have slaughtered
them.
As it
Thought it was an excellent performance, but Howson, who I rate highly did not
have his best game.
Well pleased with the final result, but we should have won it.
Oh and before I goBig Sam is a complete and utter twat. IMHO.

I think Allardyce has done well, in the face of stiff competition he has
managed to assume the undisputed position if biggest twat in football.

Was Sam Allardyce watching the same game as the rest of us?
Yes, the first penalty claim should have been given - I'd have been livid if
it were against us
The second one was not in the slightest nailed on and could have gone either
way - much the same as our own claim, could be either way and

Howson might have looked quiet but he spent most of the game keeping Scott
Parker out of the game. Likewise Clayton with Nolan. Our midfield was
excellent against highly rated opposition. Very good result considering we had
to play West Ham before the transfer window closes - Parker, Cole
Gary Neville?
Anyone think Scott Parker was a nasty cynical overrated waste of space

One point away from home is according to the receipe, so well done to the
lads.
We seem to struggle a bit in the opening minutes, and I am about to say
typical our unluck, this struggle is awarded with one goal to get back. We
did well for the next hour or so. Very well, in periods. Very well
No. I thought he was their best player especially second half when he really
singe handedly drove them forward. He was still the 4th best midfielder on show
today behind Clayton, Snoddy and Max.
I thing Macca got it spot on when he said that we have to belief that we can
play football and
I find it hard to fault anyone on that performance, I missed the first 10 mins
so missed the period when WHU were in control. For most of the game I thought
we were the better team, there was a spell when we went 2-1 down that we seemed
deflated, I think conceding a second 2 mins after
Rich, I hate to do this to you --- with Becchio we would have had
three goals more.
