June, You can unlink someone and therefore unlink their whole branch. eg if you have a SMITH grandfather and you right click on him and unlink from spouse, then you will have unlinked all his SMITH ancestors and their families from your main tree - but they will still all be linked together.

If you can't resize your Legacy window, check the window options next to About on the ribbon. If your database isn't fullsize in the Legacy window (as it isn't when you use SplitScreen) when you try to resize the window, it bounces or can't be changed. Note also, if the text is a bit fuzzy in
