areas of Windows which provided enhanced security.
The older version 7.5 installed at the root level of drive C at C:\Legacy\
and this by-passed the normal security built into Windows.

I forgot to tell you when you open and convert your Legacy 7 database using
Legacy 8, you will need to run: Tools Media Relinker and then Gather
Media.
This will location and link all of your old picture files and the Gather
Media allows you to make a copy of your picture files in
This worked for me:
I let Legacy 8 load in to the suggested Program Files(x86).
Opened the program and used the Customise option from the Options Tab, then
Locations changed 6.1 to where I kept my Ver.7 files, having first made a
copy of the ver.7 files, just in case.
