Mike this was the solution. I assumed the "part" was a dysfunctional file There was no indication that the download was in progress. I had not waited long enough for the update to complete. There was no indication that the download was in progress.

The .part extension will be changed to .exe when the entire file has been downloaded.  If the download fails, then the .part extension will still be on the filename.  It means that the download is partial.  Delete it and try to get the full download.  A partial download will not work.  By the wa

Have you updated 7.5 since you've used those files? I think the message is wanting to update the 7.5 version to the later format in 7.5 rather than trying to convert to Legacy 8. You can't do that from within Legacy 7.5 If in doubt, make a copy of one of them and then open it again in 7.5, this t
