When I attempt to backup to the Legacy cloud I get a black screen and then a blue screen that says in part: shut down to prevent damage to your computer; crash dump; DRIVER_IRQL_NOT-LESS-OR-EQUAL. This happens only when attempting to backup to the Legacy cloud. I sure hope someone can provide a

That probably indicates that one or other “driver” program for your computer hardware needs to be updated. You will be able to see if that is the problem, using an inbuilt-Windows utility, called Device Manager. When Device Manager is run, if there is an error, a yellow exclamation mark against

I also had this problem and other companies blamed Legacy. The bottom line, it was my Virus protection. If I disconnect the antivirus while I back up to the cloud, it is supposed to handle the issue. However, I didn't feel comfortable doing that. So I now back up my family files to a Dropbox

I also have this problem and reported it to Legacy last October, I took it to a local repair shop and they told me it was a Legacy problem, it is an incompatibility with Windows it seems. I thought it would be dealt with in the last upgrade but no difference. I have had problems earlier last year

Jenny, It's just that, as I understand it, the process is actually an import into a new empty file. It's not just copying the file like a Save As. It's rebuilding it by importing everything to a new file which is why it fixes several bugs. You may have checked "Show Combine options when Event

This is not a problem, I am just curious. I had to export my Family File to a new one because of an error. Two or three times during the export I had a tab come up which was querying locations because, it said, the Short Location Name in the new file was different to that in the original
