[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 46672] Extension update faces 403 error

2013-05-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46672

Hi Julien,

I do have the latest version of (4.0.3.3) LO now (RC 3, which is available as
pre-release at the LO website.)

The problem existed from 3.5.0. In fact at that time I faced a series of
problems, out of which the first two seem to be resolved now.

So given that I am already using the latest LO, and even if I am using an old
version of PALO, LO should be able to update it. (Otherwise what's the point of
this function?)

I suspect that PALO is really NOT compatible with LibreOffice.
(It is not even listed at http://extensions.libreoffice.org/.)

It appears to be a ZIP format issue.

If you want to report wrong fonts, lack of borders or cell background, that

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 63695] VIEWING: Base does not see changes in TextField (with MySQL)

2013-05-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=63695

--- Comment #13 from Lionel Elie Mamane lio...@mamane.lu ---
(In reply to comment #11)

Cannot immediately reproduce on LibreOffice 3.5 on Debian GNU/Linux amd64.

 5) change record pointer in the upper table to anything else but first
record (only once!!! do not touch anything else)

There are several ways to do that, and maybe this happens with only one of
them?

 - Click in the left margin of a record, selecting the whole record.
The status line of the table says e.g. Record 3 of 4 (1).

 - Click in the first data column of a record, selecting only that cell
   (one column of one row).
The status line of the table says e.g. Record 3 of 4

 - Use the arrows in the status line of the table.

 - Type a number in the status line of the table; where it says 1,
   e.g. put 3

 - Use the arrow keys of the keyboard to go down

 - Press TAB repeatedly until one changes record

 6) Press a button to open information service on internet (I put
www.onet.pl). It is not even a macro.

I still don't understand what button I'm supposed to push. I don't see any out
of the ordinary button in the form, and I don't understand how a button on the
form would open a website without a macro.

 9) Not touching anything else start typing in the bottom field Additional
info and observe the diskette button on bottom panel ;)

So I have to click in the add_info field to put focus in it?

(In reply to comment #12)
one more thing I forgot: If the bottom text field Additional info is below
the screen move the screen BEFORE pressing the button.

For me, if I do that, the form moves back to top when I go back to ut and I
have to scroll again.

2013-05-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64418

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 64418
  Keywords: regression
CC: cedric.bosdonnat@free.fr
  Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: Unremovable image (eg. imported charts)
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
  Reporter: nem...@numbertext.org
  Hardware: Other
Status: NEW
   Version: 3.5.7.2 release
 Component: Writer
   Product: LibreOffice

The attached file contains a frozen image, that doesn't respond for the mouse
clicks in effect (only sporadically). Workarounds to select it are to use the
keyboard selection (Shift-F4), selection frames, or LibreOffice 3.4 (that is
free from this kind of selection problem.), but these operations are not so
trivial for the average users.

It seems, the problem is related to the new header/footer GUI. The picture is
anchored to the paragraph of the header. It is important, that not
intentionally: normal operations, like setting the anchoring point of a picture
to paragraph from page can result the anchoring to the paragraph of the header
(like in the case of the original version of the attached test file).

Tested with the master, too.

The point is to embed the navigator, and reorder slaves using drag and drop.
Looks like user can't drag and drop slaves when navigator is not embedded.

I can confirm this bug.
The following happens:
You get back to the form.
You move through the form with tabulators.
You click with the mouse in the field add_info.
The counter of navigation-bar shows row 2 of 4 (I have chosen row 2 in the
tablecontrol of the mainform). Notice: the counter doesn't change to the
subform; in the subform is only row 1 of 1.
The Input of the field add_info isn't noticed by the form, because the GUI is
waiting for an input in the mainform.

When moving with the tabulator through the form I notice, that every field of
the subform is shown with row 2 of 4. You couldn't change everything in the
subform, because the the GUI doesn't notice, that the cursor is in the subform.
So this isn't a special bug of a special text-field. It's a bug of recognizing
the position of the cursor when getting inside a form from other windows by Alt
 Tab.

My System: OpenSUSE 12.3 32bit rpm. So I will change the platform to All.
Also I could reproduce it with LO 3.3.4, LO 3.6.62. So I will change the
Version to LO 3.3.4. Could be a bug since the beginning of LO.

Francisco - it's a long shot (most of the font code is shared) - but it might
be KDE related memory corruption; can you do (from a console):

pkill -9 -f soffice.bin
SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen soffice

and see if you can reproduce it ? What are the steps to reproduce it even ? If
you're moving fonts around in folders - that's rather like installing them I
suspect, so yes, most prolly a dup of bug#60565

Must be a problem by the zoom.
Base-Forms will take the last zoom of a writer-document. When you have zoomed
in in a writer-document to 200%, close LO and open later a database, the forms
will appear at 200%.
Two methods to get the forms smaller:
Open a writer-document. Zoom to 100%. Close the writer-document. Close LO. Open
a database: Forms will appear at 100%.
Second method works directly: Press the CTRL-Key and scroll with the mouse.

If this works for you please set this bug to resolved and notabug

I may be dump, but I don't get the issue :-)

No you are not. I had to read it also multiple time (no offence Bug Reporter
;-) ).

The problem is: you have to retype the name of the template which you want to
overwrite ( = give it the same name and overwrite it). The bug reporter
suggests that: click on the template you would like to overwrite - Hit
'Save' - Saved as that template.

I think this is also the behavior in save (as) dialogs? Select the file which
you would like to overwrite - save ... file saved as the file which you would
like to overwrite (not by retyping the whole name).

Kind regards,
Joren

I can't reproduce this neither.

Tested using Mac OSX 10.8.3 with LibreOffice Version 4.0.3.2 (Build ID:
c6786add5a58268e11aa027c47054344040db1b). Both tested with native print dialog
as the LibreOffice one (LibreOffice Prefrences LibreOffice General
Print Dialogs Use LibreOffice dialogs.

As Thomas mentioned, is it possible to reset your user profile. If that didn't
solve this behavior, is it still reproducible with the newest version (4.0.3.3)
which you can download here: http://www.libreoffice.org/download .

If still reproducible, (as Thomas also asked) what's your OSX version?

Kind regards,

Hi James,

thanks for reporting and the pictures of the document.

(In reply to comment #0)
 Problem description:

When pasting any details from the spreadsheet, it removes some of the
previous formatting already placed on the template.
This includes removing of any brand(logo) in the opposite corner of the
sheet, and mis-alining some of the editable text area's which are supposed
 too be lined up horizontally.

This is behaviour you may expect when e.g. a logo is anchored in the paragraph
where one of the fields is, and then when that is replaced when you copy/paste
new data over that paragraphs.

Can you pls find some help in documentation / users support to fiddle this out,
if needed?

that I can reproduce it also with my computer?
In addition, I have tested it once more with the toolbar FORMATTING and FIND

Have you tested it also with one of these three toolbars?

I tested it by closing a toolbar by right click Close Toolbar. It reappears.
If I do it like you (ViewToolbarsuncheck Formatting) it doesn't appear again.

Also I tried with Fontwork toolbar by enabling it using ViewToolbarscheck
Fontwork. It appeared, but disappeared when Calc was reopened.

I did not try other toolbars.

Word 2007 (Mac) created document that causes the crash upon opening

On attempting to open a Word docx file (created with Mac MS Office 2007) I get
a General input/output error. This may be a duplicate of bug 64256 but, when
opening it in Word 2000, I don't see any graphical bullet points in the
document. I don't have a later version of Word so any such bullet points may be
being converted upon loading into W2000. I have attached the offending doc for
you.

The crash occurs in the release versions of both 4.0.2 and 4.0.3.3 (I am using
the release version although I have selected the RC version as the 4.0.3.3
release wasn't an option in the version list when I submitted this bug).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Attempt to open the attached docx file.

Hi,

Thanks for commenting so rapidly on this.

My Mac OS X is version 10.6.8. I've downloaded and installed the latest version
of libreoffice (Version 4.0.3.3 Build ID:
0eaa50a932c8f2199a615e1eb30f7ac74279539) this morning and reproduced the same
behavior before adding the bug report.

However, as you suggested, I've tried to reproduce this behavior using a
different user on the same machine and I can't reproduce it. It works fine.

I'm not sure about what you mean exactly by resetting my user profile. How
can I do that? I would like to keep my machine account unchanged because it
would be a pain to start over but I imagine you refer to my libreoffice user
profile.

thanks in advance

This isn't a special bug of MySQL. I have created a database with two tables.
The tables are connected with a 1:1-relation. There are 4 rows in the table of
the mainform. Every row of the mainform could only show one row of the table in
the subform.
Now open the form. Press the button, which doesn't have any function. The
navigation-bar changes from row 1 of 4 to row 1 of 1. It has been changed
to the subform. Now press the tabulator-key. The cursor enters the first field
of the subform. But at the same moment the navigation-bar changes to row 1 of
4. Write something in the textfield. It couldn't be saved.

OK, reproduced on 3.6 and 4.0 (my development trees).

Step 5 is not necessary for me, neither is take your time, I can go directly
back to the form after browser opens. Also, bug is still reproducible if I
change the button's action to None.

The crucial step seems to be to exit focus of MainForm to a button in SubForm.
If I move the button to the MainForm, then bug is not reproducible anymore.

Scenario to reproduce is simple :

In Windows :

Launch Writer.
Tools-Options-LibreOffice Writer-Mail Merge E-mail

Fill in the details (I use Gmail's smtp.gmail.com, with SSL enabled and port
465).

Select Server Authentication, check Server requires authentication.

Enter Username (@gmail.com address) and password.

Click OK.

Close the settings by clicking OK.

Open Tools-Options-LibreOffice Writer-Mail Merge E-mail

Check settings are properly memorized.

Click Test settings.

Window pops up with Test Account Settings... and that hangs.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 49568] hyperlinks do not work in exported pdf

2013-05-10 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49568

--- Comment #3 from Carlo Strata carlo.str...@tiscali.it ---
Exporting the .odt file in the testcase will produce a new behaviour case in
which, clicking on the link, the Internet Browser opens (showing or saving the
correct file) and not the default pdf viewer, as it would be.

 Avelino:
 - did you install any LO specific extensions?
 - could you rename your LO directory profile and try to create a document with
 just an header?

If you still reproduce the crash, could you tell what you put/type in the
 header?

 Carlo

I mean I use LibreOffice 4.0.3.3 Win32 on a Windows 8 64 bit environment, with
Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.0.2, Win32.

In that environment I also confirm the correct behaviour opening test-34.pdf
and the wrong one (nothing opens) from test-35.pdf.

It's not because it works with OOo that it should work with LO.
the code of each one diverge more and more.

Since I may be wrong, I'll let Andras (put in cc) respond.

@Piotr: is the crash still reproducible using latest extension
(http://numbertext.org/dist/numbertext-0.9.5.oxt)? I see you use version 0.9.4,
that is version 0.9.5 ... which I can't reproduce the crash anymore (using
Linux Mint 14 x64 with LibreOffice 4.0.3.3) ... so it is fixed for me.

If you can verify it is fixed, please mark this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME

Kind regards,
Joren

Thanks for reporting. Looks a valid enhancement request to me.

Quite related to the count selected cells feature (Bug 61541)

@Eike: we can convert this to an EasYHack too?

In other words, if I start a build of master now, it will be ready by Monday.
(I don't keep my noisy, power-hungry Windows box running outside work hours,
and even then only when I am actually working on some Windows thing.)
