Hi all
I believe that if regressions in MAB are fixed then the patch MUST be
included in the following release. Otherwise there is no point in having

Here is an example that will cause DATA LOSS for any user of 4.1.0 (it was

Excellent! But it would make sense to let people know about that in
Bugzilla?
In Bugzilla you only get Whiteboard: BSA target:4.2.0 target:4.1.1
In any case, that was an example. I meant this (

regressions that *were* fixed should be cherry picked to the nearest

Absurdly, I still get exactly the same unclear message when I check the

Thanks!

Hi Florian
Don't try to get the Master builds if you demonstrate under Windows XP. You
will get a Server error because there is no build available.
Other than that all seems to be working correctly.

s why? What is the point of disabling XP suport? Is TDF
going to drop support for XP before Microsoft? Are the major changes being
carried out (like OpenCL) incompatible with Windows XP?

Thank you for the clarification. Looking forward to new builds that work
under XP ;)

Notice the "half" button in front of Similarity.
But I just noticed that two options have been removed since version 4.1.1.2:
"Match character width" and "Sounds like (Japanese)" which also had an

Just installed 4.0.6.1
As I feared the bug reported for 4.1.2.3 was backported to 4.0.6.1
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Libreoffice-qa-ANN-LibreOffice-4-1-2-RC3-test-builds-available-tp4075690p4075992.html
It is a regression from version 4.0.5.2

I have replied in Bugzilla.
It is not only Find and Replace that it is ruined in 4.1.2.3 and 4.0.6.1
The simple Find function is also ruined. Searching for the word "Santos" in
an extensive report also tagged the word "Matos"...
This is a MAJOR bug. Please don't dismiss it as a personal whim.

@Stuart
I already figured the problem was that the "Similarity" option was checked
(by mistake) from a previous session.
This shows that having advanced options hidden doesn't seem to be a good
idea from a UX point of vue...
Sorry for the noise.
Best regards,
Pedro
