My *guess* would be that the battery light would flash for that one. I had a
very slow flashing orange battery light preiously when I was having trouble with
an old battery.

It should set in auto mode so you can plug in both 16-bit cards and 32-bit
cards.
Auto mode doesn't do a great job of selecting. I always change it around.
