Unique identification of a computer

Hi, I need to identify a computer in a unique way. Can anyone point me to source code in C or C++ that gets from the system: BIOS ID HardDisk ID Volume ID Motherboard ID CPU ID I'm using Linux Red Hat 9.0 This code should work on various hardware configurations. I already looked for it using

Just to get into the fray a little, In the good old days when I was employed in Isreal, there were companies that asked for the resume in pdf. I would only send samples of my tech writing work in pdf. I have friends who made the mistake of sending in doc and found some of their work
